Miss Hina has a meet the author event soon.

Miss Hina, miss Hina, miss Hina. Gorou's just about ready to go deaf from Itto's rambling.

It doesn't make it any better that Itto's so hard to hate.

"I'm excited for tomorrow!! I'm finally gonna thank miss Hina for replying to my letters! She's so nice, I wanna get to know her more tomorrow!" Gorou's forced smile faded. "Tomorrow?"

"Mhm!!" Itto happily fiddled around while talking. Gorou wasn't informed of this. He doesn't want Itto to keep gushing about miss Hina when miss Hina is beside him. It was annoying.

Gorou doesn't want Itto to obsess over miss Hina.

"But,, I'm pretty sure she won't be signing for long?" A lie. It didn't make Itto happy one bit. "..oh. you know miss Hina?"

The sudden change of demeanor Itto had sent chills up Gorou's spine. "Although, I'm not sure." He gave up in trying to avoid him as miss Hina. He doesn't know why he has a soft spot for the oni.

"Oh! Okay!" Itto happily smiled before being called by Kuki. "Bye general doggy!!" He waved goodbye before laughing and talking with the arataki gang.

"God dammit, why am I so angered by the idea of Itto obsessing for Hina?" Gorou doesn't hate Itto at all, he isn't opposed to the idea of hanging out either!

"Oh my god." The reason he doesn't want Itto to obsess and eventually fall for Hina,

he's been CRUSHING on Itto, HE wants to be what Itto gushes about. The complicated frustration was from that. He'd been feeling jealousy and he wasn't sure why, now it made sense.

What now? Tell him? What if Itto becomes disinterested in becoming friends OR more?? The frustrations transformed into confusion and anguish.

The rest of the evening was the thought of Itto meeting Hina tomorrow being just barely pushed to the back of his head.

Before he asked Yae for advice. "Why not just tell him? He's only known miss Hina from the helpful replies he gets from you."

"But what if he doesn't even like men?? Or me??" Gorou at this point was made to look like miss Hina, Yae had been brushing his hair to calm him down.

The complaining went on till it was the dreaded moment of Itto meeting miss Hina.

"UH- Hi miss Hina! I'm Arataki Itto!!!" Loud as ever, the nervous oni spoke. miss Hina giggled, before making an impulse decision.

"After I attend to things, would you like to walk around with me?" Gorou cursed in his mind. "What are you doing?! You idiot!!" Thoughts similar followed as well.

"Ah- sure!! I'd uh- love to!!!" Itto was a mess, getting to walk around with miss Hina? A great opportunity to talk to miss Hina!?

As Itto waited for miss Hina to finish the decently long line of people. She rushed towards yae.

"Oh my god what am I supposed to do???" Gorou questioned in a panic. "I heard it, good luck" she snickered, slightly pushing Gorou out.

"Miss Hina! Hello!!" Itto wasn't as nervous as he was before. "Hello Mr. Arataki."

Ugh. It hurt talking to Itto as miss Hina. Gorou wanted to cry and just reveal everything right there. Run away and sweep everything under the rug.

He wanted to do that as they walked around. And well, it got to him.

"Hey, I'd like to tell you.. something." Itto was surprised at the sudden sterness of her voice.

"I'm, not what you think." Slowly walking away from Itto, wanting to just run away and avoid him. "Eh? But you're miss Hina!"

"N-no, it's.." taking a deep breath.

"It's me, Itto." Whatever magic Yae used to change him wore off.

"A-and, I totally get if you feel betrayed, you probably hate me right now, you know what- I'll just go." He was near tears. For a stupid reason yes, but the insecurities and doubt rushed through his head. Running away before Itto could catch up.

"You just had to do it, didn't you?" Gorou conjured up hurtful words against himself while hiding behind the corner of a building.

Tears. Tears were forming. "Why? It'd had to be the one person that I'm sure didn't like me back." Gorou angrily bit his lip to get any agression out.

He rested his back on the wall before dropping to sitting down.

"Gorou..?" Itto found Gorou, curled up near the corner of a building.

"Shut up, you're a fan of miss Hina, you wanted to know her better, not me." Gorou continued to look down.

"No I- ...it's fine if miss Hina is you, I appreciate all the letters miss Hina sent. And if that's you, nothing changes." The oni sat down near the general.

Gorou was silent. Itto was too.

Gorou looked up, an unreadable expression plastered on his face.

"Really?" Gorou forced himself to talk. He wants to resolve the problem he's made.

"Really! I'm sorry for making you cry.." and to show how sorry he was? He hugged the general.

"You're great." Itto whispered as he smiled.

"St-stop, stop!!" Gorou slightly pushed away Itto. "The reason I cried, why you shouldn't think of me as great.. This all happened over my silly crush on you! Stop making me feel better about myself when I shouldn't have the luxury of doing so!"

Itto was surprised. It's like he wanted to say something. He sighed, "You should, I fell for you, you replied to my letters, don't degrade yourself like that."

He

WHAT?

"But- you're- why???" Gorou was happy, yes, but at a loss for words.

Arataki chuckled, "like I said," leaning towards him to whisper. "You're great"

"...May I?" Itto asked, their faces were so close.

"Of course."

Itto continued to lean, gorou got closer as well. Till their lips touched one anothers.
