Chapter 6

"Wait!", Amyra shouted to them before they could gather the rest beasts remaining and leave. They stopped out of fear immediately thinking that she was going back on her word. " Why did this beast tide start?". " Some powerful cultivator in the Celestial forest scared off the high leveled beasts in our area, so the other beasts got restless there and scared us and so we left the forest hoping to establish a base in weaker human towns", the beast leader answered.

'Shoot it was me!', Amyra exclaimed to herself, 'I scared off all the higher-tiered beasts in the area before I left the forest, to gain experience points!'

"Ahem", Amyra coughed," Go along and don't ever think of invading human cities again", Amyra said with a serious look on her face that intimidated the beasts there. "Yes Miss!", they shouted before they left in a hurry.

"Now where did I drop that cultivator?", Amyra asked herself. She found him in the distance with some other cultivators and immediately activated the skill 'medical knowledge 101' to heal him. ' Beep! Congratulations! Skill: Medical Knowledge 101 has advanced to Skill: Heal level 1'

Its the cultivator that Amyra knocked out due to the intensity of the after effects of lightning punishment; although she did technically reduce most of its life treatning effects.

' I guess I still get notifications from the system while it is updating'

'No matter how many times I hear it I still can't get completly used to it; leveling up so easily', Amyra thought with a smile on her face. Amyra left to meet up with the remaining cultivators, deactivating the barrier skill protecting the cultivators that were with the injured cultivator when she reached them. Returning with an injured cultivator in her arm, who was 'sleeping'," You did you see who just scared off those beasts?", a cultivator at the city gates asked Amyra pointing to the direction she came from.

"No, the beasts ran into the Celestial forest after being scared off, thats all I know. All the beasts left after that", Amyra explained knowing that no one would be brave enough to venture there to find out upon seeing their levels using 'Clairvoyance'. " Really? That's bad. He could've been rewarded by the city with a national title"

"Really?!", Amyra exclaimed surprised.

"Yeh"

' damn', Amyra thought with a frown on her face after he left, 'Then again I don't want to attract too much attention to myself'

"Thank you for your help!", the city guards exclaimed upon arriving to clean up their (The cultivator's) mess. " The city will reward you with an all-you-can-eat party!". Amra handed over the still unconscientious cultivator to the reliable city guards and then...

Her face immediately brightened up upon hearing about a free meal. Most of the cultivators just left upon hearing that. The few that remained rejoiced for the party. "Time to eat!", Amyra exclaimed as she followed the guards to the venue with the remaining cultivators. 

' I have to find a way to repay the city for causing the beast tide', Amyra thought as she walked through the city gates.

At the venue...

"Soo much food!", Amyra exclaimed seeing all the food provided by the city. ' Always eating beast meat and herbs in the forest was getting a little plain. Thankfully the city had good food!', Amyra thought with a big, happy smile on her face. " Is it your first time in the city?", a cultivator asked Amyra. "Yes. It's actually my first day here", Amyra answered while stuffing her mouth with food from the tables after praying for God's blessings over it. " Welcome to Base 1 aka Capris. The frontline base protecting the outskirts of the great Lunar empire", he exclaimed happily welcoming her to their empire before he left waving his hands to her, to catch up with the rest cultivators. " Thanks", Amyra said waving back to him.

'The system should finish updating tomorrow. I wonder what new features would be available?', Amyra thought as she watched a shooting star pass through the night sky and disappear into the unknown.

A band of musicians started to play music. The flute, guitar, and zither all blended together in a beautiful symphony that felt as if it was welcoming Amyra home, into Amyris.

'I wonder how Ice is doing? I hope my death didn't hit her and my parents too hard. I want them to live together happily like a true family', Amyra thought feeling somber and nostalgic hearing the song that the band was playing. 'Why was I brought into this world? I am happy I'm alive but sad..because I miss my family', Amyra questioned as she gazed into the clear, star-filled sky solemnly, hoping that this was all just a dream.

The next day...

" Where am I?", Amyra questioned as she woke up in an unfamiliar environment. 'Oh! I forgot I came here last night as it was the closest hotel on the way back from the dinner', Amyra thought rubbing her head, as she got up from off the queen-sized bed that was positioned in the center of a large master suite." Did the sleepy me really have to buy such a large suite for the night?", Amyra questioned as she face-palmed herself looking at all the lavish decoration in the room.

' I have to start earning some more money. At this rate I might just get broke', Amyra thought not knowing the amount of high-leveled beasts she had left in her space ( the evil ones she had to end up killing) could set her for eternity in Amyris. 

 Amyra then left the room and entered an elevator and pressed a button to go to the bottom floor to check out of the lavish hotel.

" Now that I think about it, this hotel is pretty high-tech for a magical age. I wonder who invented it?", Amyra questioned as she looked at the golden-lined interior of the elevator. "Ding!", the hotel door sounded as it opened. "Hi, I am here to check out", Amyra said upon reaching the receptionist's desk. " Good Morning, Miss Amyra. How was your stay last night?", she asked while I gave her the keys. " Honestly, I can't remember much. Sorry if I was any trouble", Amyra said apologizing. " No trouble at all Miss", The receptionist answered in a professional tone as she signed Amyra out of the hotel. "That would be one large gold coin miss".

" Oh, here", Amyra answered, nonchalantly handing her a large gold coin from out of her jacket. "Thank you miss", She responded taking the coin, "Have a nice day!", the receptionist exclaimed with a happy smile on her face as Amyra left through the sliding doors.

'Let me check my status', Amyra thought as the status window popped up. "Again!", Amyra shouted alarming the crowd around her.

'Poison immunity max level reached now combining other immunity to status immunity', Little ball announced. 'Just drinking can level up my stats now? did I drink alcohol?!! But I am still underage!! or did something happen that I can't remember?', Amyra questioned as she held her chin thinking to herself. 'Was that why I was so sleepy? Is alcohol supposed to do that? the party was so much fun I forgot to check all the drinks, I must have accidentally consumed alcohol or poison at some point. What do I do?!!!', Amyra thought scratching her head vigorously in torment and anger. "I promised myself never to drink the forbidden juice, what did I do!!", Amyra exclaimed walking in the streets and making people look at her weirdly as if they were thinking, 'is she crazy!'. 'God forgive me', Amyra thought clasping her hands and bowing her head in shame, apologizing to her lord.

'I feel like this was meant for me', Amyra thought drooling at the good times ahead.
