Chapter 30

After teaching lukas how to hone his senses, I let him be to analyze all the information I told him. Walking down a path, cherry blossoms drifted in the air and went into my hair but I didn't bother to remove them as I was still feeling very down.

" This is the time of year for cherry blossoms to bloom"

" They're my favourite flowers and yet..."

" why do I feel so lifeless watching them fall to the ground?"

I walked until I reached the entrance for a very high mountain.

" Might as well climb it....It looks pretty high though", I said, as I looked up seeing clouds blocking the view of the top of the mountain. " It seems like the best place to be right now".

I reduced my cultivation all the way down to level 10, to make the hike more invigorating and started my slow incline up the steep mountain using the  ancient looking stairs provided to climb it. When I say ancient, I mean old and almost none existant. Some steps were there still and some were lost in history.

As I climbed further up, evert 100 stairs I would stop and look at the view of the sect and just take a breathe to slow down my vigourous breathing from the excercise.

" It feels like a long time since I was in this state. Back then...", I began to feel sad reminising. " Baciel helped me stay sane reminding me every time I leveled up which encouraged  me more to continue working hard. Back home I always did my best but I could never see where my best was going, if it would truly help my future...I was uncertain but everytime Baciel reminded me and spoke although I was alone in that dimension physically, I wasn't actually alone. The title helped me level up alot so I heard his voice quite often, for new skills, level ups, new titles gained etc. "

" I prayed to God every sunrise and every sunset to keep my mind at peace and in order and Baciel provided me company, although not much but enough to keep me sane and in a good mood"

The stairs felt like they would never end. " looks like Lukas is looking for me but I don't want to go down yet, as I am nearly at the top", Amyra smiled looking in his direction and then to the stairs with a thrilling look in her eyes, " lets continue.. I'll find him later to see what he wants".

Reaching the top I exhaled causing the cold air to meet the hot air creating a long line of fog from my breath as it drifted upwards from the wind.

There was cloud everywhere but the solitude of this place made me feel at ease. There was a lone cherry tree at the very edge of this mountain with a swing that seemed long forgotten and a table with a par of chairs next to it adding to the abandoned vibe. I went by the swing and after testing it to see if it was safe, I started swinging very slowing enjoying the feeling of swinging above the clouds below my feet.

After a while I got tired and decided to pray to Jesus on my knees using a rock to place my hands on as i clasped them and closed my eyes. After what felt like a short time, I opened my eyes to see the last rays of the sun. I felt soo much better now and at peace.

" It's getting late, I should go", I looked around and decided to clean up the place.

Using my forester title I gave a little life to the dying greenery and the cherry tree. I also replaced the chairs and table with a set from my system rewards.

" It looks better now", seeing this finished, I headed back down the stairs meeting Lukas half-way. " Some disciples said they saw you come here", he said.

" oh. Did you need something?", I asked.   " I wanted to see if you were alright as you had a sad expression when you left this morning, and not seeing you for long, I decided to check up on you", he answered looking me straight in the eye, " Are you alright?", he asked looking at my red, swollen eyes. Realising I turnes back on my Healing passive skill and increased my cultivation to his level in a panic.

" yes, yes I am fine", I answered as I walked infront of him continuing my descent in a haste. Reaching the bottom, I let out a breathe. I blushed in  embaressment, as I saw Lukas not too far behind. He came up next to me and asked me, " Do you want to go hunt some monsters?", he asked watching me for my reaction. " Sure, I have nothing else doing but lets hurry as I think they will have another dinner party tonight",I said noticing all the disciples busying themselves.

I took out my sword and jumped on top of it for easy transportation. Realizing something I looked behind me, " do you want to hop on?, mine is faster", i asked, " but it's ok if you don't", I said hurredly as I saw he had a sword in hand. ' can he fly?', I'm so embaressed, I thought he couldn't for a while until I turned around.

" sure", was all he said, as he hopped on behind me. I enlarged the sword to make the two of us fit and placed a wind barrier around it so the wind won't nock him off or blind him from the shear speed.

" Hold on tight" , i said stretching out my hand, "I go really fast". He held my hand gently as I raised the sword slowly up until it was in the clouds and zoomed off making sure to hold unto his hand as he stood behind me.

It was a really silent and envigorating ride as the wind carved aroung us and the speed felt comfortable. Stopping I jumped off as we reached a good distnace to the ground near the forest. Lukas following my actions.

" Nice, right", I said smilling. He looked at me and then turned his head to the side quickly.

' was the ride to fast for him?'

" So, where should we start..lets just head in", I said, as i moved forward with him following behind me.

' I feel like I have a sibling'

Reaching the interior no monsters could be seen but...

"I see now, lukas get ready", I said as he immediately put his sword into an affensive position and I stood on the defensive in case any came to hurt Lukas as he was lower leveled than me.

" Here starts the fun", I giggled as a few lifestock came our way, as the moonlight illuminated our path.

Amyras hair glowed silver in the moonlight.

Arriving back at the sect, me and Lukas jumped off my sword and every disciple looked towards us.

Feeling embaressed by their stares I ran towards the elders and greeted them in the moonlight.

" Here I brought a couple lifestock for the party", I said pulling out all the ones from my space, that me and Lukas caught in the forest not too far from the sect.

Surprised the elders replied stuttering.

" T..Thank you", Regris the elder replied accepting them and they rushed to the bonfire to clean and barbecue them.

" I guess they were surprised to see we caught so much delicious ones" , Amyra said smiling.

Lukas looked in their direction.

The elders thought, ' high leveled lifestock from that forest must reduse such a good gift'

Yes Amyra contacted winter as soon as they steped into winters forest, as the situation seemed odd but doing so she realized it was because he sensed her and he was near which scared all of them away. To help he ran some lifestock towards her without revealing his identity upon Amyra's request.

Lukas thought, " Not everyone dare call those beasts lifestock. I could only kill one .... I still need to train harder to catch up with her".

The lifestock pilled up into a small hill.

"Maybe we over did it", Amyra thought, as she looked upon all the shocked expressions on the disciples faces.

Authors note: they are diffrent types of monsters: demonic, heavenly, godly, and lifestock. The ones in the forest that Amyra hunted where lifestock that evolved and survived in a top 10 dangerous forest so they were strong and rare and extremly beneficial for cultivation but normal cultivators can't defeat them easily. Only level 70 or above. Bear in mind Amyra did this under level 60 restructions that she normally places on herself to keep herself more low-key.
