As Amyra walked further into the forest the demonic prescence became thicker making it difficult to see anything without using clairvoyance. The number of carcasses was way more than the outer bounds of the forest. There were no signs of trees, or grass, just rocks and dead corpses that looked like they died just recently. The stench was killing Amyra. Seeing all the corpses at first gave her a fright but she soon recovered when she remembered her mission here and that no one on Amyris placed any treat on her.

'Activate ' Light of Healing' ', Amyra told Little Ball as a flash of light surrounded her and spread to her surroundings, like a flash of lightning, engulfing everything within the area of forest where Amyra was. The surroundings dimmed just as fast as the skill activated leaving a striking contrast in the surroundings. All the corpses disappeared, causing the stench of rotting corpses to disappear.

'That worked', Amyra thought happily noticing the scent was gone. 'The beast is just up ahead', Amyra thought looking in the direction of the now-injured demonic beast with a serious face. Amyra got angrier as she got closer to it. 'Human and cultivator corpses!', Amyra thought with a frown on her face, noticing the skeleton of the remaining victims on the field that wasn't affected by her skill.

"Tell me what is your purpose here? Before I end you", Amyra spoke to the beast in a chillingly, gravely serious, and a little angry tone, that frightened the beast out of its wits. "I Know you can speak", Amyra said coldly, looking at its stats pointing out the obvious making it shiver in fear.

"STRONG...You are the strongest one. What is your name?", it said weakly getting up with shaking legs, from out of its injured state on the ground. With superhearing Amyra heard him clearly. "..You didn't answer my question. Why are you here?", Amyra asked it again this time more gravely and showing more anger. "I don't know", it answered her looking her straight into her golden eyes, "I need to eat and kill and level up", he said darkly staring with his dark, blood-red eyes straight towards Amyra. "I guess that's your purpose isn't it?", Amyra asked, 'for a level 60 demonic beast; a dire wolf to be here in this common forest...Here clearly has no resources for it to grow so fast and eating and killing those victims before wouldn't get it far...There is something else happening', Amyra thought with a frown on her face. 'I might need to make contact with the caretakers earlier than I wanted', Amyra thought looking at the beast, pitying its state somewhat.

'I designed all the beasts on Amyris including this one..I don't want to kill it but I have no choice, it's too dangerous for the people in Strata', Amyra thought with a dark look on her face. 'Seeing the human and cultivator corpses angered me but seeing it now...'.

"I might as well tell you my name before I end you", Amyra said suddenly, alarming the beast by walking up infront of it, showing pitying eyes and having a somber and no fearful aura. "I am AMYRA, Protector of Amyris", Amyra announced surprising the black furred, dire wolf.

"Amyra?!! Protector?? what?", it responded gaining the energy to shout due to its surprise from its originally dire state. It couldn't believe what it heard. "Rest in peace", was all Amyra said as she activated the now level 2 ' Light of Healing' causing the dire wolf to be hugged in white light, which before it dimed the wolf said, "Thank you", surprising Amyra before it was erased from existence on Amyris and went to sleep forever. All that was left of it was white ashes that floated in the wind being carried off into the distance.

'Ding! Title: 'Protector of the beasts' gained, as well as, Title: ' Mercy' '

But Amyra paid no attention to it as she watched the ashes fly in the wind, solemly remembering how she died and left her family. "Next time, I will try to save them before I  have to kill them like this", Amyra said with  a little saddness in her tone, "I didn't even ask his name", Amyra said realising that fact.

Amyra built a grave for it right where it died using earth magic and placed a florescent, blue violet at it's head by the cross tombstone.

"I'll name it Valkari", Amyra said announcing its name ( pronounced val-kari). Suddenly, a light surrounded Valkari's grave and dimmed as a small light began to take shape above his grave. As it got bigger, Amyra began to realise what was happening. The light faded as the object touched the ground with its four paws, opening it's red eyes and looking straight towards Amyra with surprised and awe filled eyes. A little sliver of gratitude and loyalty shown, as it moved towards her nudging her hands asking for her to pet him.

"Valkari?", she asked, it nodded, "How?". Little Ball answered, 'Combination of effects from both titles recently received'. Amyra then checked her two new titles.

'Protector of beasts: allows you to communicate and summon any beast named by you. Mercy: shows 'Mercy' on intended target. Skill 'Mercy' level max acquired as a result', Amyra thought reading her status board in her mind. 'What?!', Amyra thought looking at Valkari, 'I guess that's how the skill 'mercy' works'.

Valkari nodded it's head answering Amyra's question. 'Is it still bad though?', Amyra asked Little Ball. 'No, Valkari was resurrected and as a result is brand new, so all bad pasts, actions, habits etc are gone', Little Ball responded notifying Amyra. 'Oh?', Amyra responded doubting Little Ball a little. As if feeling Amyra's doubt and uncertainty Valkari came up to Amyra and nudged her hand asking her for a pat again with pleading eyes. Amyra then obliged, as she streched out her hands petting it on the head.

"It's so soft!", Amyra exclaimed causing the big dore wolf to roll over unto it's back asking her to rub it's belly which Amyra happily did. The wolf howled in bliss. "Alright!Good boy!", Amyra exclaimed rubbing his stomach. After 10 minutes of playing with Valkari, Amyra got up from of the ground and announced, "now I don't want to leave the forest with it still being like this". Looking around at the barren area. A good thing is, at least she doesn't have to worry about the smell anymore.

'Activate ' Light of Healing' but broaden the scope to the barren areas only. Heal all the life there', Amyra told Little Ball. With a 'Ding!' Little Ball did so causing the whole forested area that was recently dark and dreary to have a huge white glow, alarming some of the guards in Strata but just as it appeared it disappeared. Trees and grass that were dead began to grow at a rapid rate, and the field Amyra was in became a field full of lilies of all colors that glowed and sparkled in the sun, dancing as a soft breeze brushed past their bodies. The forest was now green and lush after the skill weared off. "Much better", Amyra said happily, looking around at her skills handy work. All the demonic prescence in the forest was gone and a tiny fragment light Sp took its place. Seeing that Amyra was worried that the monsters might get stronger faster and attack the humans nearby.

"I need to place a guardian here to protect the balance", Amyra stated looking at Valkari. "Can you?", Amyra aske him. Valkari nodded it's head. "Then, thank you for your hard work!", Amyra exclaimed happily petting Valkari on the head. "Get strong and protect it well. Don't make monsters harm or cause trouble for Strata and vice versa", Amyra said explaining his job. It nodded its head affirmidly.

"Well then, it's time for me to leave", Amyra announced, making Valkari to lower his ears that were once high up in the air. Seeing this Amyra smiled, "Come and find me when you find someone to replace you or if the situation is good. If not then...I will see you again. Here take this as a gift for taking the job", Amyra said leaving him a golden apple on the grass, then leaving as she waved to him goodbye smiling. "See you soon!", she shouted to him off in the distance. Looking at the apple Valkari leaned his head to the side in curiousity. 'What is this?', he thought looking at the strange fruit.

Authors note:  Valkari is starting over his cultivation so he can't talk just as yet. Amyra can control the scope of her power just that she asks Little ball for help sometimes. Her clairvoyance can see far into the distance and through everything including demoni prescences, illusions, lies etc, she just controls it at times not to see so far because she wants to see the situations of a certain place. The same with the ' Light of Healing ' skill she just chooses to let it only affect a certain area and how much, that's why she uses it alot in this chapter.
