Amyra immediately rushed off in the direction she heard the voice coming from, alert all the way there. Reaching her destination, she noticed she was now in an abandoned alley that once was the source of all the villages trades; by the look of all the torn old tents and old shacks by the sides of it.

She saw her damsel in distress not too far up ahead. She was surrounded by what appeared to be a demonic prescence.

'why is that here? what does it want?', Amyra thought looking at it, before rushing to the damsel's aid. Immediately activating 'light of healing', dispersing all the demonic Qi, leaving the lady who dropped to her knees on the ground after the source of her strangulation was gone.

"How are you?", Amyra asked, lending her a hand which she refused with a scared and tormented look on her face. "Go away!! Cultivators shouldn't be here!! Leave before you cause more harm!", she shouted towards Amyra, shocking her, as it was the first time someone spoke to her like this in Amyris.

Amyra turned and left not wanting to cause any more trouble for her, seeing her state. 'Why shouldn't cultivators be here? cause more harm? what happened to this village?', Amyra thought, recollecting what the lady said to her. She had to figure out what was going on.

I want to know what's exactly happening in this village for her to have such a reaction to my help and to say such things. I left because I didn't want to cause more trouble for her and cause a ruckus. Seeing as someone lives in this village, I doubt she lives alone in this airy town, she isn't the only villager.

Activating clairvoyance, I looked around the town for signs of what exactly was happening and was shocked...

There're clearly other villagers living here but why would they choose to remain here, especially after seeing all this demonic qi here? It's like a breeding ground for...

A loud shriek sounded. I should remain unseen for now. 'Little Ball activate camouflage'.

I rushed in the direction of the sound using cloud steps and when I arrived, I was once again shocked. It was the same girl again but this time a group of villagers were surrounding her, tying her up and lifting her upon their shoulders to carry her somewhere. Something is definitely off about this village, I thought, as I saw the villager's reaction to the girl's helpless pleas. "Please let me go! I don't want to go there!!", she shouted, as she twisted and turned trying to escape from the man's hold.

I have to follow them if I want to know more and lift the situation in the village easier. I could just use a wider range of the skill 'light of healing' to immediately remedy the situation but it looks like that would be only a temporary solution for now. They led her to a tunnel at the edges of the village and carried her down a flight of stairs, which gave off a cold and bloody undertone, as if they were trying to say beware!

Amyra followed close behind them and they didn't notice her, as they were just ordinary humans. At the end of the stairs, they walked through a passageway that felt like an abandoned mine, as it was dark and cold with the only source of light being the torches at the end of the passage that were placed above a cold steel door.

The head of the group then stepped out to open the door using some sort of chant which I couldn't comprehend as the language seemed unfamiliar. The door then magically opened and they carried her through it.

'Things are getting dangerous now', I thought, as I noticed the intense demonic prescence pouring out from inside the door. I just made it through in time before the door closed back on its own. A prison?! Why are they so many villagers here? Did this group of people capture them all? That can't be possible they look so weak to do all this on their own. Was this why she didn't want me to get involved and told me to leave? Looking around seeing the corpses of one or two cultivators here.

'No one can hurt me so easily but them? What exactly did they go through to be in such a condition?', I thought, looking at their hopeless, lost and crazed faces, with a hint of depression and grief mixed in some. I then noticed the mastermind. Using clairvoyance I saw him hidden in the thick demonic prescence at the end of the prison in what looked to be a throne room.

The guys carried the girl directly to him with Amyra close behind keeping an eye on that figure. Entering the doors which led to the room they placed her at the bottom of the steps that led to the throne and left without saying a word. "Escaping again? Do you want to die?!!", the figure asked, coldly looking at her with his black eyes scaring her senseless. "Since you keep asking for it",  the figure said, as he controlled the demonic prescence around him to strangle her. She slowly began to lose her vision...

"Stop!", Amyra yelled from where she was. "Who's there!", the figure immediately released his hold on her alert now. 'Someone actually got past my defenses?!', he thought looking in the direction Amyra's voice came from but seeing nothing. He became anxious that he couldn't see her.

Deactivating Camouflage, Amyra stepped out into the open revealing her figure. "Who?", was all he asked upon seeing her as he didn't recognize her. He smiled. "Just a level 70 cultivator? I don't know what tricks you used to get here but since you revealed yourself. You're dead!", he exclaimed, as he aimed all the demonic prescence, present toward her.

Amyra stood still taking it making a smile appear on his face. 'She should be dead now', he thought. " What are you doing here in a human village? If you stayed away from them I wouldn't trouble you but you choose this", Amyra announced, as she dispersed the prescence with 'light of healing'.

"Impossible! Who are you?!", he yelled seeing her actions, "A descendant? But what is one doing here? I thought they didn't meddle in Amyris' affairs". " A descendant? What's that?", Amyra asked him only to get cut off. "You never learn, to think my own designs would try this", Amyra said, dodging the blast this time and using cloud steps to appear next to him punching him in the nether regions. Falling down he whimpered. "Not a level 70 at all! You're too strong!", he exclaimed on the ground.

Activating Judges intent, I looked at him making him shiver. "What's a descendant? And why are you here causing so much trouble?", Amyra asked again patiently waiting for his reply.

Having no choice he answered her. "Blood of the protectors of Amyris, their children", he explained with a pained look on his face. " oh..", was all Amyra said looking at him, "And..?".

" I came here on orders from his majesty the king of demonic cultivators to find someone", he answered, " All the cultivator's before got in my way and the villagers were a good source to find them quickly". " You were using them as ransom? For who?", Amyra asked. "Ransom!", he laughed, "I was going to kill them as soon as the message got out to heighten my cultivation", he exclaimed in glee.

"I see there's no reason for you to stay here then", Amyra said, activating light of healing. "...wait.. don't", was all he said as he disappeared. 'Remove level restrictions for now'. 'Activate ' light of healing' and 'Clairvoyance' small scale fill the entire village'.

The villagers saw a bright light and it soon disappeared to reveal untainted surrounding like a cultivator of demonic prescence was never there. 'Use heal', Amyra said, as all the villagers who were in the prison and hurt were immediately healed.

'Use mercy title', Amyra said, as she activated her barrier skill with it.

All the inhabitants began to shine and a clear barrier began to form around the village. After finishing this Amyra turned to the lady, and handed her a token explaining the use before disappearing.

"It's all over now?...", the lady asked to no one, finally catching herself when Amyra left.

'Reinstate level restrictions', Amyra told little ball, as she headed out of the village.

Although I have infinite mana and the restrictions just act as a camouflage to hide my level, reinstating it does make it easier to carry out large-scale magic. It's like a level 1 with infinite mp but without the experience to guide them, so I release them (restrictions) to make the casting easier even though it's not necessary per say.

"I trust the girl will take care of the villagers and the mutineers"

mutineers: the villagers who committed mutiny by abducting the others to serve as sacrifices for the demonic cultivator.
