(Y/N) POV

"Here, let me help you," I say as Lin struggles to move around a sack of flour.

"I can do it myself," she mumbles as she continues struggling.

"I'm helping," I say as I grab the sack, our hands touch and before I knew it I was on the ground.

I was stunned, I could feel my face being pressed against the ground.

"Sorry," I hear as the pressure releases.

I raise up and see that the sack of flour was spilled over.

"Aww man," I mutter as I look at Lin. Her eyes startled me.

Fear. I never thought I'd ever see a pair of eyes filled with as much fear as hers.

"Are you ok?" I ask her as she continues looking into oblivion.

"Lin? You good?" I ask again as she breaks out of her trance.

"Yeah," she says as her hands start vibrating as she picks up the flour

"No, no," I say as I pick it up.

"Your not well," I tell her as she looks like a nervous wreck. Her hands are shaking, she's sweating despite it being a cooler day out. Her eyes look distance.

"Ok," she mutters as we begin walking again.

It's been 7 days since Cassy left. My leg is slowly getting better and better. We just went to a small town for some cooking ingredients. I wasn't supposed to come, but I convinced Lin to bring me.

"What was that?" I ask wondering about her sudden actions.

She put my face into the dirt without me even knowing. She's obviously more then just some lady in the middle of the woods who has medical knowledge.

"Reflex...I guess," she mutters as I look away.

"That's a pretty solid reflex for whenever someone touches your hand by accident," I comment as she keeps walking ahead of me.

"I don't think it would happen to someone else," she says as I raise a brow.

"Why do you say that?" I ask

"It's because.....never mind," she says as she speeds up. Due to my leg still being hurt, I started to fall behind.

"Just when I thought we were getting somewhere," I mutter to myself

It took another 10 minutes to return to her cabin.

She was waiting for me in front of the door.

She didn't say as word as she opened the door for me.

I navigated to the kitchen area and set down the flour.

"Thanks," she says in a hushed voice.

"Yeah, no issue," I mutter as she points to my leg

"Is it acting up at all," she asks

"Yeah, it's pulsing in pain a little bit, but it's manageable," I say as she nods

"Almost ready then," she says as I nod.

She turns to leave but I catch her attention

"What happened back there? Seriously. It's more then just reflex," I ask her as she turns to me.

"I'd rather not say," she says before I stop her again.

"You can tell me. You helped me, so if I could help you that would be great," I say as she looks at me with dead eyes.

"Do you really want to know," she asks me as I nod

"I hate your people," she says with fiery eyes. Whatever feelings I caught off her before, the fear, the sadness. She had no trace of them right now, the anger in her voice was heartbreaking.

"My people?" I ask as I start to think about the hidden leaf

"The Uchiha! They're savages!" She adds as her voice is even more heated. Tears start running down her face.

"They killed him! They killed all of them. They are the reason why I'm alone. That bastard took everything from me," she yells

"I watch them burn as he laughed in cold blood. I heard their pleas to stop, but he never did. I heard the cries for mercy, yet he never respected it, I watched, my darling die right in front me. I watched my friends die in a blaze that he made," she continues

"Those eyes....I'll never forget those blood coloured eyes," she begins as I look at her bewildered.

"Your people did that...your clan killed everyone I ever cared about," she says

"It was hard not to kill you when I realized that you were one of them," she says as more tears roll down her face.

"But I couldn't bring myself to kill you," she says before going silent.

"I didn't know," I say as she looks down.

"I-Who did it?" I ask her in a soft voice

"He's dead...I made sure of that," she answers

"Your a ninja?" I ask as she nods

"What village?"

"hidden cloud," she answers. Her voice had returned to normal

"Why are you here then?" I ask her as she looks away

"I killed him within our village. He was a prisoner...but after I saw him...I couldn't control myself," she adds

"I was banished after," she adds.

"Did they listen to you at all?" I ask as she shakes her head

"No, they threw me out on the spot," she adds.

I can see why she's the way she is now. Truly alone. Her village abandoned her without listening...I almost can't believe it.

But when I think of my own situation, we have similar fates.

"The hidden cloud has the eight tailed beast right?" I ask her out of the blue.

"Yeah....why," she asks me

"I need to go there. It's part of my mission actually. I've been tracking down a group who has been killing jinchuriki for the failed beasts inside them. I believe he is the next target. If I'm right, it would be a great way to get back into favour with your village," I explain

"I doubt it'll work," she says as I disagree

"They discharged you without knowing, I'm sure they will take you back if you help me," I add as she thinks about it for a moment.

"How are you sure that B is the next target," she asks. B? He must be the jinchuriki of the eight tails...she knows him too. That'll be a great assist.

"Cassy is the one tail jinchuriki, and the nine tails is within the hidden leaf. That's two together, add the fact that the hidden leaf is expecting them. I highly doubt they will strike there first. Likely will go after the eight tails first," I explain my reasoning.

"We might be able to warn them, and maybe even help them fend off an attack," I add as she thinks for a moment.

"I guess that makes sense...do you know why they are after jinchuriji?" She asks

"Kinda. They're trying to restore power to this geto statue that they have," I explain as she nods

"Ok...I'll help," she says reluctantly.

"Better then staying in this cabin for the rest of your life," I tell her as she nods slightly

"I guess," she says

"I guess since your coming with me, we can leave a lot sooner?" I ask her as she nods

"Yeah, and from the sounds of thing. We need to get there soon," she adds

"Yeah...that we do," I agree.

We went our separate ways to pack up for the trip.

"Maybe the Uchiha aren't has bad as I thought," I faintly hear as I walk away.
