Chapter 22 Arc City Experiment Part 2

In the destroyed frozen wastelands there isn't even a single sound, there is only the sound of the wind and the waves of the blood coloured ocean, but that silence is suddenly broken by the sound of a recorder. There was also the sound of something moving on the the red ocean and the one playing the recorder is none other than Armaros, he was playing the musical instrument like he was living in his own world, not feeling distracted by the sounds, he stops playing and he simply says.

Armaros:"Huh? Who would have thought that I finish it so fast?"

he shrugs and he continues playing his recorder as we see Crimson A1 leading a group of Towarts that carrying a black pillar.

Arc City, Helipolis Research Center

Under the night veil, Rita landed swiftly and quietly on a passage inside the industrial area. With the access card, Rita walked past almost every door before effortlessly.

Rita:"I'd look for their data base to find answers"

The S-rank valkyrie as concern of what Kiana gave her, she needed to confirm that Helipolis are the ones responsible with the recent attacks from the Honkai Beast.

Alvitr:"Keep the channel open, Miss rossweisse. I'm the reliable tool girl to support you"

Rita:"Let's find out what Heliopolis is hiding..."

She took out a security android that was guarding the lab she was in, she then went to a computer to check out what they were doing.

Rita:"This is... a medical aid proposal by Heliopolis"

Alvitr:"This firm has been handing out humanitarian aid to Honkai-stricken cities worldwide since the 2nd Eruption. They expanded their presence in the Far East and Shenzhou after 3rd Eruption. And that when this industrial area was built"

Rita:" 'Providing free medicine to citizens with Honkai infections... and free clinical treatment to critically inflicted Honkai patients...' "

She said reading the proposal.

Alvitr:"Everything for free... Philanthropists with a fat wallet"

Rita lightly laughs.

Rita:"Free stuff usually costs more, and sometimes the price is life"

She goes to the next room avoiding and silently taking out the androids that were guarding the building. Rita arrives to next room with lots of canisters, she goes to the terminal and sees...

Rita:"This is... study on the Schicksal Honkai Vaccine (Patient No. HBA-022)? An medical analysis report on HBA-022? Isn't it the vaccine sent from HQ to Shenzhou?"

Alvitr:"They're trying to steal our formula?"

Wonders the other Valkyrie through the radio, but the maid responds her question.

Rita:"From the modifications they did, it doesn't seem necessary for them. Search for the current stock of HBA-022. ... It's 0"

Alvitr:"Even the 30 thousand vaccines we brought in all went out?"

She says in surprise from the radio.

Rita:"... It's like a black hole"  

Rita then heads to the room that was in between the two previous rooms that she has being, she enters the room as time slipped away, the unease in Rita's heart grew ever stronger. Every piece of information gathered so far seemed insignificant, but they hinted at a horrible answer. There is just one key piece missing to solve the puzzle.
