Chapter 10 Secrets of the Ikari family

In St.Freya at the Principal's office, Theresa was sitting in her office reading what we would think is something important, but actually she is reading Homu manga.

Theresa:"Hmmm.... Wow! So that black Homu was the one kidnapped Homei. Hehehe! I Really liked when he said 'You thought it was Hotaru who betrayed you, but it was I Evil Homu all along!' Let's see the next-"

But before she could continue, the door to her office were opened by a staff member. She quickly hid her manga.

F.Staff:"Madam Theresa, we just receive a call from Nerv Japan"

Theresa was surprise and asked.

Theresa:"What is it about?"

The staff member brings out her tablet, to read the message.

F.Staff:"They say, that they want the Third Child back in Nerv, but I don't get it Madam. Why would they want him back? If we can't no longerpilot an EVA"

Theresa:"They just want more pilots, their last battle damage Unit-02. But I have being inform of a new EVA and Pilot having arrived recently, have you sent this message to the Overseer"

F.Staff:"Yes, and he has sent message to them and that he is planning meeting with Captain Katsuragi here, and discuss"

Theresa:"Wait! HERE?!

At the Dorms

Mei:"Thank's for helping with the food, Shinji-kun"

Mei has asked Shinji for help in the kitchen, since she is still not better from their last mission. 

Shinji:"No problem, you still need to heal up from your capture by Anti-Entropy, I heard from the news that your father is now innocent since they discover that he was framed, congratulations"

Mei:"Thank you, Shinji-kun...."

She smiles softly, but she hides her blush. After her and Bronya were rescued, Shinji has being working harder than before, she remembers one day she was about to leave the training room and she notice that in one of the room, Shinji was practicing his swordmanship. She saw him sweating all over his body and even though he was tired, he would continue training and still keep muttering 'never give up'. Ever since that moment, Mei began to see Shinji as something else than a friend or partner, but she doesn't know yet. 

Phone ringing*

Shinji:"I'll pick that up, can you finish without me?"

Mei:"It's fine, go and see what is it?"

Shinji leaves Mei's side and pick's up the phone.

Shinji:"Hello? What is it, Theresa?.... What?! Are they serious...... Tomorrow? Okay thanks for the information"

As Mei brings the supper to the table, Kiana comes down having heard the conversation that Shinji had on the phone. Kiana asked Shinji.

Kiana:"Shinji, did something happened?"

Shinji:"It's Nerv, they want me back in order to pilot the EVA again"

The two girl were shocked about this sudden news, Mei was worried while Kiana was mad.

Shinji:"Misato-san will come here and have a meeting with the Overseer himself"

Mei:"Wait! The Overseer will come here to negotiate?"

Shinji nods in respond, Shinji cannot help but to wonder if this is the end of his new life.

The next day...

In the hangar of St.Freya, Otto Apocalypse arrives with Rita and Durandal as his bodyguards, Waiting for them is Theresa and Himeko. They salute the Overseer.
