Shinji wakes up, he looks around he sees that he is in the infirmary room of St.Freya he gets up with difficulty his muscle still hurt a bit from his fight with Bronya. The door to his room open to reveal Fu Hua with some tea, her senior notices that he is awake.
Fu Hua:"Shinji-kun, how are you feeling?"
Shinji:"... I feel like shit"
He said in a depressed tone, Fu Hua gives him a cup of tea and he gladly takes he drinks some. Shinji then asks.
Shinji:"Where are the others?"
Fu Hua:"Kiana and the Hyperion have gone to rescue Mei from Anti-Entropy. We have found them at ME Corp building"
One question lingers in his mind.
Shinji:"Senpai, why did Anti-Entropy kidnapped Mei-san? I don't understand"
Fu Hua breaths in and she answers his question.
Fu Hua:"Shinji.... Mei is a Herrscher"
His eyed widen with a shocked expression, he look at Fu Hua with shocked and surprise expression on his face. Fu Hua continues.
Fu Hua:"One year ago Mei awoke her Herrscher power causing an outbreak in the city of Nagazora. Kiana fought the awakened Herrscher and manage to save her Human side, we soon discovered that the ones who awoke her power a messenger of the Honkai was Anti-Entropy. They frame her father the original head of ME Corp in order to make her vulnerable to let the Herrscher inside to wake up"
When he heard what happened to Mei, he felt sad and understood what she had gone through. She was somewhat similar to himself. Fu Hua then got up she put a hand on his shoulder and smiles towards him.
Fu Hua:"Don't worry, they will come back safely"
She leaves him to reflect.
A few hours later, somewhere in Soukai City
Shinji is seen in a bar drinking coffee, it taste terrible but he didn't mind it. Shinji was feeling depressed that he failed, his hand tightens the grip of his cup in anger that the fact he wasn't able to save Bronya. He remembers the sad and terrified look the poor girl had.
???:"Yo, you don't mind if I sit here"
Shinji looked and saw a white haired man that kept his hair on a pony tail, his eyes were blue and one thing he notices is that he is missing an arm. The hair and and the eyes felt familiar, the man sat besides Shinji, the man notices that Shinji is sad and angry.
???:"I can tell that you are sad about something, and you also seem angry about it"
Shinji:"I failed two individuals and now they are both in trouble. I felt that every path I took just leads me to more failure"
The man responds with.
???:"The thing about failure is that you feel that you lose, but you didn't lose. You only truly lose when you give up, but you haven't given up"
Shinji:"Huh?"
???:"Failure is the worlds greatest teacher, use that failure to make yourself stronger and use that strength to save dearest to you. If you let those doubts take over then you truly lose, that is why you must always overcome them"
The man leaves with a beer and left a surprise Shinji, he suddenly notices something on the table, he sees a piece of paper with numbers written on it he realise that these are coordinates.

He arrives at where the paper told him to go, he arrives in alley way. As he walks in someone comes in from behind him.
