Silence has consume the room, Shinji and Mei are quiet Tesla looks at them seeing there expresion of sadness and shocked. The words that she said after bringing Kiana to the ship and after doing a medical examination on her, those words tore apart the hearts of Shinji and Mei.
"Kiana has not much time to live"

Shinji is seen sitting on a stone he is reflecting on how to handle the situation, Kiana one of the most important individuals he has meet is dying and there is no way of saving her.
Kiana:"Shinji-kun, what are you doing?"
His thoughts are stopped when Kiana appears, he hides his sad expression quickly.
Shinji:"Nothing, I was just thinking"
Kiana:"Thinking about what?"
Shinji:"Um... About stuff?"
Kiana snickers at Shinji's answer, seeing her laugh cause small smile to appear on Shinji's face. The sight of her smile made him feel joy, but that joy disappear when he knows that she might not see her again. Kiana then grabs Shinji hand and she starts to drag him.
Kiana:"Let's go"
Shinji:"Go where?"
She looks at him with cocky smile and says.
Kiana:"We are doing a tour"
Meanwhile...
Mei is seen in the roost she is giving left over to the children, she is sad that her friend doesn't have much time and she has notice some of the effects last night Kiana didn't finish her dinner, but she told her it was delicious and she also realise that Kiana lied about the food being spicy, because she didn't put any spices on last night dinner making her realise that Kiana has lost her ability to taste and hunger.
???:"Yo!"
Mei turn and saw Raven leaning on a lamp post, Mei got cautious.
Raven:"Easy there, I didn't come here to fight"
Mei didn't let her guard down, but she still willingly listen to her talking.
Mei:"What do you want Raven?"
Raven:"I came here to thank you for giving food to the children here I'm grateful, we will soon be moving away to a safer location"
Mei:"I'm glad to hear that"
The mercanary eyes scan the area to see if there was any children left in area and when see saw none she asked Mei something.
Raven:"I have something to ask you"
Mei:"What is it?"
Raven:"... Raiden Mei, would you want to join us?"
Back with Shinji and Kiana
Shinji and Kiana are seeing taking a walk through the ruins, Kiana begins to show around Nagazora knowing some places she use to go before the 3rd Honkai Eruption.
Kiana:"Look over there"
She points down below to the water.
Shinji:"Mmm, what is it?"
Kiana:"That place use to be ice cream shop and they had some delicious crepes, I remember taking Mei senpai there to eat dessert they were super delicious"
She smiles remembering that.
Shinji:"I see, it must have been fun"
Kiana nods and they continue on their little sight seeing, there was something that still bugged Shinji. How could Kiana be still smiling in the situation that she is?
