Chapter 16 Encounter in Arc City

Somewhere within the Sea of Quanta...

The being know as Armaros is making his way towards the Imginary Tree, this being was trapped inside a bubble universe that he consume in order to reach the tree. He is able to see the tree in the distance, the EVA like lifeform looks towards the tree his destination and his key to his freedom he then stops as he feels pain inside his body.

Armaros:"Gah!.... I.... I'm... In control"

The pain soon disappears he grunts in anger.

Armaros:"My soul is incompatible with this godlike body, my father would have wish to have obtain the power that I have now......."

He chuckles in amusment.

Armaros:"Oh, I guess you and I are similar, but the difference between us Father.... Is that you are dead"

He ends with a cruel tone.

Hyperion, Training room

Shinji:"35,36,37...."

Shinji is seen doing sit ups in the Hyperions training room, ever since he gotten over his depression he has being training hard and also they were heading to the location where Kiana has being seen. She was seen in Arc City one the most advance and futuristic cities in the world, they got this info from someone named "Grey Serpent" who is said to be one of the most powerful individual in the city due to having lots of intel, then Mei enters into the room and walks towards Shinji.

Mei:"Shinji-kun we will be arriving in 2 hours"

Shinji:"46,47, thanks for telling me Mei just one more, 49 and 50"

He finishes his exercise, he gets up cleans his face with a towel as he was cleaning himself, Mei was looking at how well build his body has become for someone for his age.

Shinji:"Mei?"

Mei snaps out from staring at Shinji's torso.

Mei:"What is it?"

She asks while blushing and turning away from his sight, Shinji look confuse at why she was looking away from him? But he shrugs it off.

Shinji:"I'll be ready in 5 minutes"

Mei:"Alright see you on the bridge"

She Leaves the training room as Shinji begins to change his clothes. An hour later, Shinji is seen wearing his gear and he meets with Theresa, Tesla and Einstein he asks.

Shinji:"Are we there yet?"

Einstein:"We will arrive shortly Ikari-san, we are currently making route towards where Grey Serpent is"

Shinji:"I'll be getting ready, tell me when we are there"

He says as he leaves the bridge.

Hours later...

Our Heroes have landed in Arc City and they are getting near where Grey Serpent is, Shinji is now wielding one of Himeko's greatswords since he wasn't able to get Labour of Olympus back since they escape from Schicksal's base. He is now wielding the greatsword Balmung, Mei looks at Shinji and asks.

Mei:"How are you getting use to your new sword?"

Shinji:"It's heavy, but I'm getting use to it if I was able to wield Labour of Olympus then I have no problem with Balmung"

Tesla:"We are here"

The scientist says as they arrive at the location of Grey Serpent, but they see something shocking. They see that a battle just happened as they see destroyed mechs around the area and they see a corpse. They go to check it out and they see that the corpse is in fact Grey Serpent.
