Revvit's eggs

A few hours later Click-Clack wanted to share his experience of laying for the first time with other young reptools that had also laid for the first time.
Waldo and Ace listened and were happy he made it through with no problems.Revvit however didn't stick around,he left the area and went back to his egg collection room.

He looked around for a while and examined Click-Clack's eggs.They were so small compared to his more recent ones.He glanced over at his first clutch and saw they were similar in size.
He smiled but remembered his first time laying.He was scared but he fought through it alone.He was happy he was there for Click-Clack unlike himself who had no one back then.

Revvit found the perfect spot to lay his first clutch of this year.
He sighed softly as he felt his body weaken.Twenty minutes later and Revvit had laid a clutch of fifteen eggs.
They were much larger then Click-Clack's ones and more close together.He carefully arranged them together and surrounded them with fresh leaves.
He felt a soft breeze of warm air and he sat down to admire his clutch of eggs before he left them alone to join his friends again.

Two days later and it was time for the reptools to return to the garage.Apparently Ty had a run in with an angry D-Strucks.The two had been fighting more and more these passed days.
All the trux knew why and it was more of a silent understanding.The breeding season always brought more fighting among the trux.

"That trux! I swear! Sometimes I really feel like running him out of here," Ty exclaimed as Revvit crawled around his body.The yellow tool kept working but said,"Now,Ty.You should not be fighting so much with D-Strucks."
The red t-trux grumbled,"But he's the one that started it! I'm tired of it already!"
Revvit sighed and rested atop Ty's head,"Ty,he is still a trux.He has caused a lot of trouble but we can not just run him out of the craiter.It would make us no better then him."
Ty grumbled knowing his friend was right.Be the bigger trux.
He groaned and rolled out of the garage with Revvit on his head,"Yeah,I know,Rev,but it's getting harder to doing anything with him around."
Revvit's bits spun,"Ty,I think that is your hormones talking.Not you."
The red t-trux stopped in his tracks and let out a long annoyed sigh,"You know what,your probably right.I should really control myself better.Sorry you had to see that Rev."
The reptool replied,"Do not worry about it,Ty."

The phrase brought back the memory of the mysterious oil in Ty's cave. Rolling out to the racetrack,Ty placed himself at the starting line waiting for TonTon to finish up his repairs in the garage.
Revvit hesitated to ask but placed himself on the tip of Ty's nose and looked him in the eye.
"Ty,it keeps coming to mind.Days ago when I was up in the middle of the night," Revvit didn't finish what he was saying.Ty interrupted him,"Rev,please,just leave it alone.Don't worry about it." The reptool spun his bits,"Ty,please understand.I am your friend and do not want you to be bottling it up as some say.If there is any thing you need to tell me,I am all ears."
Ty sighed,seeing his friend wasn't going to let this go.
Ty sighed and looked around.He didn't want anyone around to hear him."Rev,it's the season alright.I just needed a release.Understand?"
Revvit stared at Ty a moment before he completely understood.
"Ty?! You mean you--"
The t-trux interrupted him again,"Yeah,yeah I know.I'm sorry.I didn't know you were still at the garage.Please don't be mad?" Revvit was in shock more anything and it wasn't because of Ty's need to release.
Revvit gathered himself,his breathe shuddering."No,Ty.It is fine.Gross but fine.Nothing a good wash could not cure.I am not worried about that."
Ty was confused,if Revvit wasn't angry he got revised oil on him then why is he freaking out so much.
"Rev?" asked Ty concerned.
The reptool didn't give the answer the trux wanted.Instead he slat out,"Ty,I need to go back to the ravine.Do not worry it is not about you.Somthing has come up."
Ty rushed over to the underground tunnels that connected to the ravine.
Revvit jumped from Ty's nose to the ground and look up at him with an apologetically,"I am really sorry to leave like this,Ty,but this is really serious for me.I must check on something.I will be back."
Ty was more concerned then ever,"Should I get Ace and Waldo?!"
Revvit nervously chuckled,"Uhm-no..I will be fine on my own.Ty,I will be okay.Perhaps it is not as serious as I thought.I promise I will be back by the end of the day."
With that Revvit jumped into the hole in the ground,headed to ravine.

The yellow tool rushed through the crowd of reptools in the ravine.Over rocks and carved out trees,up the scaffolding and down rock made slides along the wall.Back at his egg collection he eyed up every egg in that room till he came across the clutch he had laid just days ago.It was warm in the cave and Revvit's heart rate increased as he got closer.

Slowly he reached out and gently touched one of the fifteen eggs he had laid.He swallowed hard and turned his high beams on.The lights from his eyes shined bright as he looked between the thin metal plates that made up the egg.
Four had been successfully fertilized and were growing.
Instincts kicked in and Revvit separated each fertilized egg from the ones that were considered duds.Thirty minutes later and Revvit sat just inches from the fertilized clutch of eggs.
The shock of everything hit him all at once."Great Reptool! This can not be happening! How did this even happen?! What am I going to do! This was not supposed to happen! Am I awake right now?! I did not know this was even possible!"
Revvit's entire body shook and he lost all strength in his legs,"How-how do I tell,Ty? How do I tell anyone?"
