Birthday

Ty and Revvit returned back to the cave as quiet as possible.
They saw Hud-nut roll over in his sleep and moaned softly in content.Revvit jumped to the platform and huddled next his son.The red tool opened this eyes long enough to see his Dad.He smiled and drifted right back to sleep.Ty watched the two cuddle and smiled,purring his engine the same time.Hud-nut woke up the sound Ty made and sleepily looked at the t-trux."Papa?"
he asked while he rubbed his eyes.
Ty brought his face closed and asked softly,"Yeah?"
The little red tool sat up and Revvit did too."Can I sleep with you tonight?" Hud-nut asked as he walked over to Ty's face.
The red t-trux smiled and replied,"Yes,of course you can.Climb on up."
Hud-nut jumped to Ty's nose and crawled up to his head.Revvit looked at Ty and smiled.He too climbed to the top of Ty's head.
Both tools cuddled together but Hud-nut was especially happy.Hia Papa's warmth and his Dad's embrace was more then enough to send him into a deep sleep in seconds.

"Hud-nut is more then I could've ever ask for,Revvit.I love him.." said Ty as he glanced upwards,"And I love you."
The yellow tool smiled and laid his head against Ty's,"I love you too,Ty."
They all fell fast asleep.

"My birthday!!??" Yelled out Hud-nut,"My birthday is coming up?!" He asked as much as he yelled.
Revvit giggled and replied with a big smile,"Yes, your birthday is coming up.Is there anything you want?"
Ty smiled and leaned in close to listen to his son.
"I've heard of others having a birthday but me? Really?! It's-it's my turn!?" Ty chuckled and replied,"Yeah,it sure is! So what do you want for your birthday, Hud-nut?!" The red tool couldn't contain himself,"What do I want?!" He paced back and forth in and walked in a circle,"Uhm,I-I don't know! What-what is there?"
Ty stood up straight and smiled,"Anything you want, Hud-nut.Name it.."
Revvit spun his bits,not exactly agreeing with Ty but put his attention back on his son.
"Uhm---Well,popping ore! Yeah! I want popping ore."
Revvit chuckled as well as Ty.
"Hud-nut,you can have popping ore anytime.It there not something you want specifically? Something you can not have everyday?" asked Revvit.
Hud-nut groaned and spun his bits.Both spun at the same time on the red tool  unlike Revvit's did."Well,I have been thinking about-uhm--well.." Hud-nut retreated into his torso.
Revvit and Ty stepped back to give him some pace."What is it, Hud-nut?" asked Revvit.
The red tool looked around and at the garage then glanced at Ty's cave."I-I want-M-my own room?"
Revvit and Ty both looked at one another.Both of them completely surprised by their sons request.
Before long both parents put the biggest smile on their face,a look of joy."That's an great, Hud-nut!" Shouted Ty as he stood up straight."I could have said it better myself," Revvit exclaimed.

It took only a couple of hours to build Hud-nut his own space.
A carved out rock cave as high as the entrance to Ty's cave.Located a few yards from Ty's cave along the rock wall.
Ty peeked inside to insure there was enough space.Revvit walked dout and chuckled at Ty as he happily spun his bits."Our boy has really matured these passed weeks.I am very happy for this but I feel I will miss him too," Said Revvit with a half smile.
Ty purred his engine and coaxed Revvit onto his head,"I'm going to miss him too,Rev.But this is a happy time.Hes growing up and we need to be here to support him." Revvit sighed and laid against Ty's metal head,"Yeah,I know..But I will still miss him.."
Ty smiled and purred his engine in an attempt to comfort his mate.

"The room is done!? It's done!?" Hud-nut yelled as he ran towards Ty's cave.Revvit called out to his son,"Yes, Hud-nut! Up here!"
Ty chuckled and watched as his son climbed up his body to reach his new room.
"Wowahahowww!!" Hud-nut yelled as he explored his new space.It was simply an open space with a personalized area to sleep and another that dropped ore from a compartment in ceiling.
He squealed and took a bite of some popping ore as it fell to a little flat rock on the ground.
Ty listened and laughed as he heard his son squeal from excitement.

"Now your birthdays tomorrow but your Dad and I wanted to build it for you today.I take it you're happy with it?" asked Ty as Hud-nut emerged from his caves entrance."I love it!! Thanks,Dad! Thanks,Papa!"
