It's the season

Morning

On the night before Hud-nut's birthday.The day they built Hud-nut's room,Revvit and Ty for the first time in over a year were in the cave alone.
Hud-nut wanted to stay in his own room,his own cave for the first time.He was excited and happily snuggled into his new bed in his new cave.

Ty was happy for Hud-nut and being alone for the first time in a while he said to his mate,"Well,we got plenty of time to mess around if we want to."
Revvit spun his bits and hit Ty on the head as if to tell him to shut up.The t-trux merely felt it as a love tap and chuckled and he got himself comfortable in his cave.

Revvit listened to the sound of Ty's sleeping,he looked over to the platform that was still there and stared at Hud-nut 's old bed.He sighed and thought maybe he should check on his son.He climbed off of Ty and made his way to Hud-nut 's room.Peeking in,he saw his son curled on his new bed,snoring away,happy as can be.
Revvit sighed softly and smiled.

He didn't expect to see anyone else out here.The yellow reptool spun his bits curiously as he could have sworn he saw a shadow of another tool.He crawled down from Hud-nut's little cave and scanned around the area.No movement for a good while so Revvit brushed it off as nothing.
Unfortunately he gave up to soon because just as he turned his back to go back to Ty's cave another tool peeked from behind a rock at the reptool.His glowing eyes were devious as he silently chuckled to himself.

"Gahhaahhh...." Ty groaned as he stretched that morning.
He rolled out his cave and gave his right tread a good scratch.
The red t-trux peeked at the little cave next to his own,"Hud-nut!?" he called out with a smile.
The little tool could be heard loudly stretching.Exaggering the sound just as much as Ty did.
He rubbed his eyes as he stumbled towards the entrance of his cave."Hi,Papa," Hud-nut greeted his parent.Ty smiled and leaned up for his son to jump atop his head.
"Happy Birthday, Hud-nut!"
The little tool giggled shyly and replied,"Th-Thanks,Papa."
Ty glanced up and asked,"Rev?"
He expected the reptool to respond but Hud-nut replied,"Dad isn't up here."
Ty was confused,Rev doesn't wake up early unless it's important."Maybe he's in the garage." Hud-nut nodded and looked around carefully as they rolled into the garage.
"Dad?!"
"Rev?!"
They both called out but no response.Ty shrugged and sighed,"Maybe-Maybe he's at the ore station."
Ty and Hud-nut checked it out.
Nothing.
"Maybe the trux wash?"
Still nothing.
"How about the track?"
Hud-nut whined,"Papa,is Dad okay?"
Ty looked around with a worried expression but he tried to reassure his son no matter how he felt,"I'm sure he's fine, Hud-nut.Maybe he went to the ravine?" It took some time but the two eventually made it to the ravine. "Hello?!" Called out Ty,"Ace,Waldo,Anybody? I need some help out here."
Hud-nut looked around curiously.He hadn't been inside the ravine in the long while.
Waldo emerged from the hidden ravine entrance."Ty? What's going on?" he asked.
The red t-trux smiled but quickly asked his serious question,"Have you seen,Revvit?"
Waldo answered with no hesitation,"No,I haven't.Haven't seen him a while actually.He don't come by to much anymore."
Ty groaned,getting frustrated and showing some worry."Is everything alright,Ty?" asked Waldo.The t-trux looked down at the wrenchtool,"I don't know yet.Last night Rev and I went to sleep in my cave and this morning,he's no where to be found." Waldo groaned,"Well,that sounds serious.I'll ask around and see if anyone here has seen him on their ore runs.I'll let you know if we have anything."
Ty nodded,"Thanks,Waldo.I'll go ask around the crater.Maybe some other trux have seen him."

Hud-nut whined,"Papa,Is Dad going to be okay?" The young tool coward inside his torso and trembled.Ty stopped rolling and sighed softly,"Hud-nut, Dad's going to be okay but we need help finding him.I need you to be brave and help me ask these trux about Dad."
Hud-nut whined and laid against Ty's head,"Okay...But I'm scared Papa." Ty felt the fear in his son's voice and he took a deep breath,"I'm scared too..but we got to keep going..We got to find Dad." Hud-nut groaned but agreed silently as Ty continued on.
