ch1 - ep1

Before we get into the story I have a quick disclaimer.
These stories are a work of fiction, these people are not actually involved with the story in real life.

Jaden's pov.

I wake up in my king's sized bed and immediately get my phone and check my notifications...
Only a notif. From Amber...
I say out loud.

Amber: "Hey hey hey, I found an app you could download babes!!"
It says.

Jaden: Oh exciting, tell me more
I send her as I get out of bed.

I enter the bathroom and wash my face as I hear a notification coming from my phone. I get my towel and dry of my face and hands.

Amber: "It's called 'Finder' you basically swipe left or right on someone's profile I haven't personally used it but I've seen positive reviews!"

(Finder?)
I think to myself...well it's worth a try.

I download the app and open it.
"Step 1. Make ur own profile."
I set up my profile and tap on the continue button.
"Step 2. Add a bio."
I set up my bio and once again tap on the continue button.
"Step 3. Add some extra info."
I add my height, location and age.
"Step 4. Find your match."
I see some guys profile and follow the instructions on my screen, tap to see more pictures and info, swipe left to decline and swipe right to add.

(Seems quite simple, let's give it a try.)
I think to myself.

I swipe left on the first guy.
(he's shorter than me and I'm only 5'3)
(The next guy seems buff... let me see some more pics, nice and he's 5'11)
I swipe right.
I continue to swipe on some guys for 10 minutes, I get some matches and messages which I'll reply to later I don't want to seem too interested just yet.
I get ready and message amber asking if she wants to go shopping.

Amber: "What kind of question even is that, obviously I do I'll pick you up in about 3 hours."
She texts me back.

(3 hours? Guess I'll make some avocado toast for breakfast. And swipe some more on Finder.)

3 hours later.

"I'm here"
Amber texts me

I get outside and step into her car.

"Hey babes, did you get the app?"

Obviously I did.
I

respond.

"Tell me more."

So I swiped for a while and got some messages I wanted to answer with you.
I

said.

"Let's do it!"
Amber says excitedly as I start up the app

So let's start with Adam.
His message says
Adam: "Hey Angel."

"Show me his profile!"
Amber says

Ok ok!
I say as I tap through his pictures and let her read his bio.
"Oh I see, answer 'hello handsome.'"
Amber says.
Ok, will do!"
I type that in and send it.
Almost immediately he responds
Adam: "Thanks for the compliment angel, how are you doing?"
(Well I know what to reply to this.)
Jaden: I'm great, thanks for asking, how are you doing?
Adam: "I'm quite alright myself."
Adam: "so tell me, what is an angel like you doing on this app?"
I look up at Amber
"Well, tell him you're looking for love."
She says
Are you sure, I mean I guess it is a dating app.
I respond
Amber nods her head.
Jaden: Well, I'm looking for love, probably like most of the people on this app.
Adam: "Oh my pure little angel, the people on here are looking for a hookup. Sure there might be some looking for love... But mostly a one night stand."
Oh
I say out loud.
"Well he said some are looking for love, but what is he looking for?"
Amber asks.
Jaden: What is it you're looking for?
I text him.
Adam: "Love, and a hookup. I'd like to see where the app brings me."
I look up at Amber.
He's really cute, Handsome and honest should I ask for his Instagram and see where our conversation brings us?
I ask.
"YES!!"
Amber says excitedly
Ok ok.
I say as I start texting Adam asking for his Instagram.
Adam: "It's 'Adam's_ig' Angel. Let's talk on there then."
I feel myself blushing as I follow his Instagram and see more of his pictures.
"Can we go shopping now?"
Amber asks.
Sure I'll reply these other 20+ people on our way
As we get there I've blocked at least 15 people asking for nudes or a hookup. I get on Instagram and see Adam has texted me 3 minutes ago.
Adam: "Hey angel some nice pictures you got there..."
Jaden: Thank you handsome, you've got some great pictures aswell, I love seeing more of you.
I turn my phone off and go shopping with Amber.
We buy Halloween costumes as Halloween is in a week and some other clothing and accessories. We also take some pictures on our way out and I post one of them on my Instagram.
We spent so much money today!
I say
"Yeah, I probably won't be able to buy stuff for another 3 days"
Amber says sadly.
Ambs we all know you'll buy more stuff online until ur in depth...again.
"

Hey! I paid you the 300 dollars back!"

Amber says angrily.
I start laughing and so does Amber shortly after.
"Well, let's get going home."
Amber says
"Okay babes."
I respond
Amber drives me home, I blow her a friendly kiss as I get in my house. I put my stuff next to my sofa and get on Instagram once again, Adam and some others liked my picture and Adam texted me.
Adam: "Do you think we'll ever hang out?"
Jaden: Definitely after we video call and I can confirm ur not some gross grandpa.
I text giggling a bit at what I said.
Adam: "Sure thing, you let me know when ur free."

He's so thoughtful.)

I think to myself.
Jaden: Well, I'm free right now if you are.
I say quickly going to look in the mirror to see if I look alright.
Adam: "I will always have time for you my angel."
I call Adam and we suprisingly talk for hours up until 3AM.
"Well, I'll see you next week Wednesday then, hun"
Yeah, see you cutie.
We hang up.
Filled with butterflies I go to sleep so I can meet Adam faster.
