chapter five

I spent few days in LA, throughout my stay there me and max talked every day. During my stay in LA max asked me when am free , I just the weekend off for myself. He asked me if I like to Hawaii with him for the weekend . I agreed to go with him.
Weekend of the trip to Hawaii is here, he sent a car to pick me up; we got to the airport , there was a guy in black suit waiting, he usher me through the VIP section. It lead to the private area where I saw a private jet ,I saw max talking to someone.  He saw me and said you look stunning as usual. We went inside the jet. I sat down , the air hostess good afternoon Mr heerden's and miss, she pour us some champagne from heerden's brand. She left I ask max , did she just Mr heerden's , are you the owner of heerden's vineyard .
He smile and answered me yes . I guess am not that famous for you not to know me,  I guess you only know actor's , yes I have to know actor's cause I am a makeup artist,I hardly know everyone  I told him . It okay Lara I like the way you treat me like a normal guy he said to her.  We got to Hawaii, there was a black roll Royce phantom waiting for us. There were two men in suits waiting . Welcome Mr heerden's , Miss. Everything is ready for you sir, one drive and the other sat in front. I looked around to take in the view. Are you okay Lara you have been quiet since ? Am fine just a bit tired that all I said to him. We got to the house ,  a lady welcome us I will be your house keeper for the weekend, where is nana ?  Nana is sick so I am fill in for her , okay max said. I went in you could see the ocean at the back of the house. This is beautiful I said to him. Let me show your room Lara, are you sure you are fine Lara. Am alright I think am just tired that all. Do you need anything maybe a pain medicine. No I will be fine once I shower. Okay .I will see you later.
I don't know why I feel down since I found out his full name. I took some shower , change my clothes and lay down on the bed. I woke up and check my time it was already late; I can't believe I slept for hours. I heard a knock and the door open , oh you are wake max said, I came to check on you and I saw you sleeping don't want to disturb you , I just let you be. Are you hungry ? Come down the food is ready. Thank you max I said to him. I went down to eat , there was a table outside with candles, flowers. With the view it was so romantic. This is the most beautiful thing someone as ever done for me I told him, you deserve to be treated like a goddess everyday Lara. Are you feeling much better goddess? I feel much better.  We finished eating and sat by a bench close to the ocean , it so peaceful here I said , I always come here when I feel down and I forget everything he said to me.  I looked at him and our eyes meet, I kissed him and pulled back when he didn't kiss me back, he pull my hips and kiss me , he looked into my eyes and smiles,he placed my head of his chest and hold me tightly. Excuse me Mr heerden you have a phone call, he stood up , miss do you need everything before I leave ? Call me Lara please, no am fine thank you , she said good night.  I went in to check on max , hey Lara I need to make some calls and work tomorrow, if you want to go anywhere tomorrow the guys will take you, are you going to be fine, he said ,I will be fine . Get some rest my goddess, he kissed me. I couldn't sleep the whole night I was overthinking things in my head, I checked the time it was already 6:30am, I quickly took a shower, went down to prepare breakfast, something smells nice here. Morning gorgeous with a kiss on my forehead, why are you up early . Nana will be there soon. I told him I just wanted to do something nice for him too.  We ate and I went out to see Hawaii. Max works the whole day,but he still find time for me. The next morning we went for a picnic on the beach before our flight. Back on the jet goddess i wanted this weekend  for you to relax and also to spend some time with you , am sorry for working, it alright max I said I enjoy this weekend. Thank you I lean forward to kiss him, he pull and I sat on his lap ,his hand on the back of my neck, we first kiss lightly then his tongue in my mouth, his hand I can feel moving towards my breast, excuse me Mr heerden we are here announced the captain . He stopped even though I don't want it to stop, anyways thank God for the captain . He took me home you want to come in I asked him. Maybe later Lara he said,  I went in . I was so mad why did he not come in, for few days we talked and facetime each other. He busy and I was busy too.  I got a offer to work with one of the biggest beauty brand, I had to travel out of California for awhile. When I got back he sent his driver to bring to his place.  His house is so  big, not like your typical California house. It looks modern  , once you entered it an open concept,  so max I said , hi goddess I missed you he said to me. I hugged him , I missed you too. We spend the night talking , I fall asleep in arms. Next morning he brought me breakfast in bed , I wanted to jump on him so bad that morning. I can hear a familiar voice calling out max. Hi bro, I thought you will come out to play golf , I can't come out Lara is here,  why don't you bring Lara then , umm am not sure he said to drew, why not are you not sure about Lara or are you worried about people seen you with a black lady, it not 1960 dude; it not that dude I don't care about that,  he said. Wait don't tell me it about your parents, you are waiting for her to approve her like the way she always does,  you will let her go, dude this is the first time in years I have seen you smile when talking about some one , you told me youself she is different from Evey other woman you have seen. So tell me what is the problem? I do care about Lara alot am just he said 
You just what, am scared , I think   am falling for Lara, oh my God dude , that nice.  So max what is the problem, my parents dude, mostly my fbi mom,  yeah I know do think she will think Lara doesn't fit in,  Hi drew Lara walked him, hi Lara , I heard about your partnership with Balmain,  for Paris fashion week. that amazing,congratulations.   We are so proud of you   Thank you drew.  I got the water and left them.

Babe can I go step out with drew . Do you want to come with us ? No am fine . You can go with drew. You okay babe . I ignore him.
He went down and left. I was so angry , I knew it what was I thinking that I can date a multimillionaire, I started overthinking. When he is back I need to end this whatever it is. He came back babe sorry that was late , I got you something. With my bag in my hand I was waiting for you I think we need to end whatever this is , I was living in Dreamworld this past month ,it time I face reality . He looked confused and angry , what are you talking about Lara ; why will you want this to end. I care about you alot Maxwell but I can't be with you . I will not be able to fit in with your family, or your millionaire friends.  Lara I don't know what you heard when me and drew was talking , I don't mean it like that Lara, I care about you more than anything . Can we stop this , I need to go max , my taxi is here , I was walking towards the door ,he grabbed me Lara let talk about this more . I left  . I told my self it had to be done.  I got home I cried , he called me but I ignore his call. He called me for few days , I ignore his call, I went to Paris which I was there for few days, I just got back and took a shower , I wanted to make something for myself when I heard knock on my door it late , I checked who it was , it was drew, I opened the door and walked towards the kitchen.
hi drew what are you doing here, Lara you and max need to talk, drew there's nothing to talk about, Lara please let talk I heard max saying that, drew came with max.  Drew said I will leave you guys to talk. Babe let talk why are you breaking up with me? I don't even know if this is breakup cause I don't know what this is. Max I know you are the only son of your parents and you are ashamed to be seen with me  , yes I may not have come from a rich home like you but I worked hand for everything I have , He laughed out loud is this the real reason or there's more, it annoying when you laughed like that when am been serious right now I told him.   Am sorry , yes am Maxwell heerden , I own a wine estate what does that got to do with us, am not ashamed of you , am just scared Lara,  you are young , if you stay with me I May not able to give you everything,that it the Truth, You matter the most to me , everyone thinks I have it all but there is one thing I want the most and no one has ever give me that until you come in to my life Lara. Your bed is to small for both of us, I went inside my bedroom pick up few things, while he made some calls, are you done babe my driver is here, we got to his place, we watched movies together, went to bed,  we kissed , cuddle and slept.
