chapter eleven

If Lara want the whole world I will give her. The babies room were decorated, my mom chip in her input , Lara did some research online, I know nothing about what they were telling Gary to do; I just know the rooms are beautiful.

We were expecting the babies any time soon,  Lara was over her due dates with two days; we went to the hospital on her due dates but went back home.

I feel for Lara cause she was doing everything for the babies to arrive, she ate a hot chili food to induce labor, went as far having sex , nothing, two days after the due date, around midnight Lara wake me up, she was in so much pain; I panicked , called Lara mom's she had arrived to helped us with the babies one week ago, she calmed me down said lara water just broken, she is in labor.

I called my parents on the way to the hospital, called drew,
Daddy called Lara doctor, who was already waiting for us at the hospital,
My parents , drew we all met at the hospital, Lara was admitted to the private ward (vip section) it was like a penthouse , it has everything to make mother feel comfortable, Lara was in pain.

I wished I could helped her reduced the pain, but I could do is hold her hand,  she was sweating, throwing up, could not sit nor stand properly, she was breathing in and out, she couldn't take the pain any longer she was giving a drip to calm her down. After sixteen  hour and half of labor our son was born, with two minutes apart our daughter was born.
We were so happy, I cried and cried , I told Lara I loved her and thank you for giving me the best gift.
The nurses took the babies from us, I didn't want to let go of them, I was assure they were taking for tests since they were two days late.
I was asked to go outside , they wanted to clean Lara up, I went out to tell everyone, this time Anthony and his wife were here also.   
Congratulations max, my mom and Lara mom hugged and breathe a sign of relief,
My dad wasn't here, I pulled mother aside where's dad, I hope he is not doing what he said he will do,  shh max people can hear you mother said to me,

If Lara find out that dad is running a DNA test on our twin , she will lost it, I know my Lara pretty well by now.

Daddy came back congratulations son, he hugged me, I was happy but worried that Lara can't never ever find out, please dear God if you can hear me please let this never gets out.
  I went in Lara was already cleaned up, and was sleeping, the family came in and congratulate Lara,  they woke her up, Lara mom was hugging her daughter, Lara sister facetime her, Lara crying ,her sister's crying.

The twins was bought in, all wrapped up in a nice soft blanket, we took pictures, how can my dad suggested this babies may not be mine, this skin is so pink, you can see a blue veins, our daughter eyes was so blue, it reminded me of my twin, my boy had a big light blue eyes. So if am not the father, who could it?

His father saying Lara cheated on me, or he just can't believe I can have my own kids, did they lied to me about my 50percent chances. One thing is certain for me Lara never cheated on me. So my parents are the ones who lied to me.

I looked at drew who given me a small box, I went on my knees my parents , Lara mom, looked at me, what going on max, Lara while holding her hand, since the first day I saw you I know you are the one for me, I can't imagine my life with you and our kids in it, you complete me, I have never met anyone has brave as you, you have show me over and over how brave you are, please will you go on this journey with me and share the rest of your life with me by becoming Mrs heerden. With tear in my eyes and Lara tears up, she said yes to marrying me, I don't care about what my parents may think , whether the kids are mine or not I want Lara. Bro put the ring of her finger dummy, everyone laughed, it was a three carats pear shaped diamond ring, I slipped it on her finger , she helped me up , kissed each other, congratulations guys , welcome to the family Lara mother said to her, Lara mom hugged me , you are my son not my son-in-law,  kid sister welcome to the family, drew said to Lara, max I know you will always be there for our Lara, Anthony , me and drew both hugged, welcome to the club Anthony said, father hugged Lara welcome to the family dear.

You are getting married bro, it's was so hard hiding this ring Lara, yes it was Anthony chip in, I think drew almost spill one time. Everyone laughed,

I was too pregnant to think about rings, so who picked this out,  I did max said with the help of Tara,drew and Anthony but they were not helpful, Tara was, thanks again tee, that what I call Tara, you welcome brother, you owe me one, sure I did tee .

Meet Maxwell Oliver heerden junior, and meet Olivia Maxine heerden, Olivia middle name is the same as your twin brother, said mother. Thank you Lara

  Next day Lara and the twins were home.

DNA results came back I am the father of the twin,  I don't know what my parents were thinking, but am glad Lara didn't find out.
