Chapter 8 - The Letter

The rain suddenly poured, and to make matters worse the power suddenly went off. A certain girl instantly came into my mind. I hope she's okay ... I delved for my mobile at the bottom of my pocket and dialed her number, after a minute someone answered... but to my surprise it was not her.

"Naruto?!" I exclaimed in surprise.

"Ki... Kiba"

"Why are you answering Hinata's phone? ... where is she... where the heck are you?" I yelled, I know they're together a while ago but why is he answering her phone... What happened to her? I am getting anxious.

"Eh.. Ano.. Kiba ... Whe- where at her room" The blonde stuttered.

"WHAT??? ... Explain yourself.. where is Hinata?" My face turned red, her room? What are they doing in her room?! It's past eight in the evening and ... and... there is no one in the mansion except for the two of them.. you better explain yourself NARUTO!

"Yo! Man.. let me explain... don't jump to conclusions okay .. I know it's a bit awkward -ttebayou ... but you see... Hinata passed out when the power went off... and I had no choice.. Geez man this house is damn so big why is she the only one here!" Naruto explained at the other end of the line.

Well that's explains everything.

"Okay man .. I understands ... Just do me a favor okay.. DON'T LEAVE HER no matter what"

"No prob, I am not that of an idiot to just leave her here..."Naruto chuckled.

"I trust you Naruto, please keep her safe...or " I paused. "I'll chase the living daylights out of you" And I end the call. I don't want to explain everything to him and knowing him for such a short time I know that he'll gonna do his best to get the information he needed. Its Hinata's decision to tell him or not.

I look outside through the huge glass window, the rain still pouring hard... I guess we will be spending the night here after all... It is still a bit dark and only the emergency lights lits the whole lobby of the Karaoke bar, some of the customers also leave their rooms to scatter and roam around. As I was about to go back to our room where Shika, Shino and Chouji just decided to take a nap - the power came back and I heard some sighs and yells from the crowd surrounding me.

I smiled in relief- She'll be okay now. And I continued my pace towards our room where I can already hear Chouji's voice singing his favorite song.

Back in Hyuuga's Mansion

"Eh! Kiba?... Hello?! Wait! Don't hang up dattebayou!" Naruto is now frustrated that he did not get any information from Kiba. He put down the phone back on its place at table beside Hinata's bed.

His attention was again driven to the sleeping blue haired girl at the huge lavender bed. He covered her with a white blanket since she is only wearing a towel. It's been an hour since she fainted and once in a while she whimpers and let out a sob which really worry him. Naruto could not think of a better way to comfort her but to held her hand and it seems effective since Hinata calmed down.

"Hinata... I got a lot of things going through my mind right now...you really are mysterious" He said as he gripped her hand tighter.

Its already nine in the evening and he is starting to feel sleepy its a good thing that the power had returned. He lay his head to the bed as his eyelids starts to get heavy.

"Geez its not good, I'm get-ting.... Slee-eeppyyy... -" Naruto said as he was now taken to dreamland.
