"Pete?"

Pol waves his hand in front of his friend's face, he looks at his food blankly for almost ten minutes by now. His mind seems to be somewhere else right now.

"Pete, are you okay?"

Pete still doesn't give him some responses.

"PETE!"

"YES!"

Pol finally can successfully snap his friend's attention back to him. "You only look at your food for ten minutes without doing anything. Is everything okay?"

Pete -again- doesn't respond to his question, he looks down on his food again. Since yesterday when Pete came back to the main family house, he looks so stressed and sad. His body is also full of scars and wounds. Pol, Arm, and Porsche tried to ask what happened to him but he didn't say anything meaningful. No answers yet for their questions.

"Pol, have you ever had a dream...."

"Of course, I am!"

Pete glares at him, Pol gives him his grin to say sorry for cutting his sentence.

"A dream where it all feels so real. It feels so real as if you really experienced everything that happened in your dream."

"Huh?"

Pete takes a deep sigh when he only sees a confused face from the man in front of him. His question is not that weird, he believes someone else also experienced this kind of thing in their life. Maybe it's due to his guilt to leave Vegas alone in the safe house yesterday, he dreamed of that man last night.

In his dream, Pete saw Vegas' death. Twice .

First , Vegas died in some battle between minor and major family. He was killed by four gunshots.

Second, Vegas died in a car accident, he tried to save Pete's life by hugging him tight to reduce the effect of crashing to Pete's body.

What is this?

Why does his heart ache so badly? Why does he feel like dying whenever he remembers his dreams? It feels so real it hurts so bad.

"Maybe it's a premonitory dream."

Someone smart finally says some words. It's Arm. He looks at Pete with his curious eyes.

"What is that?"

"It's a dream that appears to give advance notice or warning of some future event."

What?

"Many people experience that." Arm puts down his spoon and fork and folds his hands across his chest. "What were you dreaming of, Pete?"

Pete can't really answer that. Precisely.

"I dream of someone else's death. It feels so real."

Job claps his hands loud, making the other people that are eating their lunch in the cafeteria look at them with annoyance. Arm glares at his friend fiercely.

"I heard before that if you dream of someone else's death, they will have a long life instead. You don't have to worry too much."

Is that it?

Why does Pete feel this uneasiness in his stomach right now?

He doesn't know what is the name of his feelings toward the oldest son of minor family, but all he understands are, one; he doesn't want Vegas to hurt anymore, and two; seeing Vegas' death even if it's only from a dream was something he doesn't want.
