"Porsche."
"Vegas."
Pete stands in between these two men that seem like they want to punch each other just by their gazes. Pete sighs loudly and looks at Vegas pleadingly. What with this attitude towards Porsche? Is what he is asking Vegas by his stare. Vegas looks at Pete and then drops his sharp gaze towards Pete's best friend.
After escorting Porsche's mother and brother to one of the minor family's guest rooms, Vegas commands his man to guard in front of their room to protect them. Porsche looked grateful for that. Then they three went to Vegas' working room, Vegas is sitting beside Pete on the sofa and Porsche sits in front of them.
This room, in their original version, was becoming Porsche's room and not Vegas anymore since Korn gave minor family to Porsche. But in this version of reality, Vegas owns this place on his own, not because he is a son of Kan Theerapanyakul. But because all of the minor family men chose him to lead them. Somehow this reality feels more right.
"So what happened in the major family after the cat got out of the bag?" Pete opens the conversation. He looks at Porsche's uncomfortable expression. "You know you need to tell us everything, right? The moment you chose to come here with your mother and brother. And also tell us the reason why you came here."
Porsche sighs and closes his eyes for a second then when he opens his eyes again, Pete can see that this man is hurted a lot just from his eyes.
"After what happened in the bunker, I came back to the major family house to look for my mother. But it seemed like major family men that were witnessing what happened in the bunker already told Korn about everything and that old man almost made me unable to see my mother again." Porsche looked so stressful. "I knew that might have happened. So I secretly asked Arm to look for all the CCTV on the major family house. Arm was confused at first but he did that anyway. That's where I knew what Korn's men did to my mother. They drugged my mother to fall asleep then put her into a wheelchair to bring her to Korn's car, i didn't know where they originally wanted to bring my mother because I found them first. Thank God I found them first in the garage, if I was late I might not see my mother again."
There are tears in Porsche's eyes, he looks so tired and frustrated.
"I was so angry, I killed all the Korn's men that tried to kidnap my mother again. Kinn was behind me, witnessing my rage and he didn't do anything. He just looked at me with his terrified eyes. He never saw this side of me."
Pete feels Vegas hand on his and Pete naturally holds them back. Porsche sees that and his eyes show an envy feeling for a second then it's gone when he blinks.
"I want to confront Korn but I don't want to leave my mother alone. I don't trust any of the major family members, even Kinn... I didn't trust the one I love so much. It's so pathetic. So I brought my mother with me to face Korn in the main hall. Korn was there, ready to tell me another lie. He said my father was killed by your father and he just protected my mother and falsified her death to protect her from your father."
Pete can feel Vegas is tensing from Porsche's words. His eyes look darker. "He put the blame on my father again?" He growls slowly. Pete caresses Vegas' hand with his thumb to calm him.
"Yes, and that didn't make sense. If he wanted to protect my mother from your father, then why did he try to move my mother so I couldn't meet her again, your father was already dead! What he did made me realize that the truth is on your father's side. So I couldn't handle it anymore. I screamed like a mad man, and tried to ask him what all of this shit about. Why he killed my father, why he kidnapped my mother and falsified her death, why he needed to make my uncle lie to me all of my life. My parents didn't die of car accident but that fucking Korn killed him!"
