Years Later...
On the very planet of Mandalore, a prison stood out in the open desert of the home of the Mandalore.
And in the distance from the prison, two of the rebels pop their heads out from the trench, looking out at the prison ahead of them.
These two of the infamous Ghost crew. Ezra Briger and Sabine Wren. She pulls down her antenna, getting a closer look. "How sure are we your father is in there?" Ezra asks her.
She pulls her antenna back "Well, our spies in the capital say he's here, and they've been right so far." she informs as they pull back into the trench. "Rau, I've got a squad of stormtroopers in front, plus multiple cannons," she spoke over the comms.
"Copy that, Spectre-5. Moving to your right flank." Rau answers her, she shot a look at Ezra as they waited.
Within the trenches, the Mandalorian snuck through and among them was the bling Jedi Knight, Kanan Jarrus "Sabine, doesn't it seem suspicious that the Empire would move your father so far from the capital?" he questioned.
Rau pats his shoulder, and they came to a stop squat down Rau peeks out from the trench "My father has many friends. He's not just important to me." she informs as Rau takes a closer look.
"The Empire probably locked him up out here to prevent someone from attempting to do what we're about to do." his visor zooms in on the roof of the prison as troopers were paroling.
"That may be true, but I'd put nothing past these Saxon clan traitors." Rau points out as he pulls back into the trench. "Wish Leo was here, he's missing out." Kanan jokes.
Rau just chuckles at him, "Have a little faith, Jedi. Leo will drop in, in the most unexpected way." he assures, Kanan just grins at him. "We're in position, Spectre-5," he informs her.
"Copy, Rau. Over," she answers and looks at the Mandalorians that were with them. "All right, Clan Wren, check your fire for the captive. We're going in the front door, on my lead," she informs them.
They nodded at her and pull back, but Sabine shot a look over at Ezra as he rotates his shoulder, "What's wrong with you?" she questions, he just frowns as he looks at her. "I wish I had more practice with this jetpack," he spoke as he reaches for the jetpack on his back.
"You're a Jedi. I'm sure you'll pick it up on the fly," she assures him, then stood to her feet. Chopper chatters at him as he pulls his arms out and began to flap them.
Ezra frowns but grins at the droid. "Yes, on the fly. I get it, Chopper," he said with a roll of his eyes.
Sabine pulls herself out of the trench and stands in view of the troopers, "Target acquired." a trooper calls out as he points in the distance. "Sir, we have a single target approaching from the north." the second trooper warns over the comm as they began to gather.
But Sabine just pulls out the Darksaber and ignites it, holding it up in the air. On cue, the Mandalorians and rebels pulled themselves out of the trench and stood in a line.
"Correction, multiple targets. We have multiple targets. We have multiple targets." he spoke again.
Sabine thrust the blade out, "Forward!" she shouts as more came into view they charge forward with a battle cry and took to the air. But Chopper peeks out, watching them charge, he chatters to himself with a shake of his dome.
The Troopers of the base began to open fire on the charging Mandalorians, Sabine effortlessly dodges the incoming turret blast. Rau and Kanan charge forward on foot.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa-ah!" Ezra shouts catching himself as he lands on his feet. He looks at his jetpack, trying to adjust it, only to go off flying back into the air again.
