11. A contract to end all contracts

      'Morax, the gnosis please.' Signora said, as she placed her palm out, indicating she has zero patience right now. Traveler and Paimon who are both in shocked of what they heard stared at Childe whom shook it off as he also didn't know anything about this as well.

     'So, all this time. Mr Zhongli is Rex Lapis!? And- And!' Paimon panicked, she then started flying in circles, circling around the traveler whom was also holding similar thoughts. 'I do apologize, Traveler and Childe. However, now that the contract is sealed it doesn't hurt to tell you why.' Zhongli then proceed to tell his tale of his own reason for such actions. 

     Meanwhile, Xiao quickly went to find you as he sensed something was wrong. Your aura is unstable and he is worried, he then decided to follow the traces of your elemental energy, not long before he found you hanging upside down from a tree branch with your eyes closed. 

     'I was waiting for you Conquer of Demons,' You said, with a sadist smile on your face. 'Ice Maiden, your aura it's unstable. I just wanted to make sure your alright. But seems to be the case I'll be leaving.' With that the anemo yaksha teleported away. 

     I was just about to change back, that's close, you thought to yourself. Landing back onto the ground, you changed back into your original clothing with the help of your handy vision. You looked up into the sky sighing as you headed towards the direction of Northland bank. 

     Childe. That Harbinger is on your mind, you remember his past from the memories of your past life. You wanted to see what you can do to help him. 'The power of abyss is nothing to mess with' that was what you whispered to him back at the golden house. And now the fatui guard outside the bank just told you 'Ah, Master Childe told me to tell miss to go to the golden house. He knew you'll come and find him.' The guard then handed you a letter and literally begged you to hand it to Childe for her. After accepting to help her in order to get her out of your hair, you teleported near Golden House and started walking towards the entrance. 

     'Ah, your here.' You heard Childe's voice echoed from behind you. Turning around, you replied with a nod. 'How do you know about my connection to the abyss?' Childe asked, skipping any sort of formalities. 'Came across the power of the abyss, know a thing or two.' You said as you walked closer towards him. Yanking off the mask off his head as he had his guard down. You inspected the mask. 

     'You've met him before. Haven't you.' you asked, as you saw the marking of a Twilight Sword at the back of the mask. 'Him? Who?' Childe asked, really confused. 'The person who gave you this mask, or at least taught you how to get this mask.' 

     'I believe he refer himself as Dainsleif or Twilight Sword.' You said, as you inspect the mask further. 'Ah, him! I remember him. Why ask?' Childe said as he acted like a child trying to yank the mask off your hands, until it hit him. 'You know him? Come to think of it, I never knew your name mysterious yet weird girl.' Childe said as he tried to mock you. 

     'Like I said before my name no longer matters, refer me however you like I don't care.' You replied as you threw him back his mask, then you continued, 'Are you staying in Liyue for a while longer?' Hearing this, Childe can't help but chuckle at your words, 'Haha! Very funny, I don't think so unless I have new orders from The Tsaritsa herself.' You then took out the letter you received from the guard and waved it in the air. 'Lucky you, here is your message from your Archon.'

     Noticing the Fatui symbol on the letter, Childe got even more confused, 'How did you get that? Don't tell me it was the guard?' Nodding to the last part, he facepalmed himself and yanked the letter off your hand. It took Childe less then a minute to read through the letter, chuckling at the end of the letter he spoke up, 'Guess I am staying in Liyue for a while longer. I'm suppose to be now handling Fatui things in Liyue till later notice..' Childe sigh first thing he stopped talking.
