         'Y/N!' Xiao yelled out your name before running up to you and almost killing you with a hug. 'Don't ever do that again.' He said before releasing you from his hug. Turning behind you, you looked over to the cliff to find a familiar silhouette walking away. 

     'Hehe. My bad.' You replied, rubbing the back of your neck sheepishly. 'Tch.' Xiao remarked, as he crossed his arms. 'Miss Y/N, conquer of demons is right, don't ever do that again! We were worried for you!' Yanfei said, she turned to Yelan for reassurance of her statement, in which Yelan nodded in respond.  

    'Well, You got your answers. My task has been completed. Goodbye everyone.' You waved them goodbye before turning to the traveler and asked him. 'Say do you have time later? I'd like to ask you some questions if that's fine by you. Hehe don't worry I'll come find you.' Seeing that the traveler nodded accepting your request, you teleported away. 

     'Y/N- wait..' Xiao called out just moments too late. 'I'm sure you'll catch her soon Xiao!' Paimon said, trying to cheer the sulking yaksha up with her words. 'Yeah I suppose so.' Xiao said before he himself also teleport away to perhaps return to continue his duties. 

     'Like the wind, there goes Xiao..' Paimon muttered, 'I wonder did he learn that from Y/N?' 

     The incident in the Chasm has come to a close, you went to find the traveler after a while for him to process things. So here you are two weeks later. 

     'Hello traveler!' You called out from the tree you were sitting on, you were standing beside the tree to wait for him to walk by, but somehow you underestimate the time the traveler might take. 'It's the weird ice lady!' Paimon called out, as always no respect for anyone that doesn't give her food or mora. 

     'Not ice lady, Y/N.' You corrected her, causing her to give you a stare. 'Traveler do you got time?' 

    'Ugh, you'll go like: I need your help with something!' Paimon butted in, 'No! Traveler needs rest!' This caused you to chuckled in respond. 'Help? Oh no I don't need help. I just want some questions answered and see if I could give you information!' You tried to smile, which turned out bad as Paimon kept making remarks about it. 

    'Sure.' Traveler responded as he went to find a spot to sit down. 'Have you met this person call Dainsleif?' You asked, which caused the two to flinch at the name. 'So you did, hehe! He's a secretive guy isn't he!' 

     'How do you know him! We never told anyone about him!' Paimon asked, getting more and more nervous by the second. 'Calm down, I'm not here to do anything bad. I just need to know what you do know so I can help.' You reassured the two. 

     'We just met him a few days ago, I thought there was something off about the Chasm after we left two weeks ago so I went down and have a look.' The traveler answered this time. 'We met him there for the third time. Why do you ask?' 

     'Hmm, I see.' You muttered, being careful so your thoughts don't get heard out loud. 'Well, I've met him and we were quite close if you ask me.' This caused the traveler to quickly muttered out, 'Do you know my sister as well?' 

     Here it is the question you've been waiting for the traveler to ask you. You and Lummine have some history with each other as fighting demons, you sometime do come across with abyss related schemes throughout the 500 years after the cataclysm. Let just say, you and her don't get along anymore after that. You shuddered at the thought before turning to the traveler to answer him.

    'We have history, we aren't friends anymore.. let just say we are like on the opposite side of where we both stand. So we are technically foes.' You replied, seeing the look the traveler is giving you, you suppose he wanted to know more. So you continued.

     'I met her on occasions from time to time. Well that is depending when I am going to get caught up in between the abyss' schemes. It was before that I also met Dainsleif. I don't know where she is, but I'm sure you'll meet her one day soon.' You revealed. 

     'Woah! This is more intel we had for the past week!' Paimon shouted, as she shook the traveler's shoulder. 'Thank you, it means a lot to me.' The traveler commented. 

     'Oh, by the way. When you go to Sumeru. Would you mind letting me tag along?' You asked. 

     'Don't you have a contract with that mora-less archon?' Paimon asked, 'Even so what business do you have there?' Paimon now are eyeing you suspiciously, trying to be as intimidating as possible. Seeing Paimon's efforts, you can't help but sweat drop. 

    'I have an old friend I like to visit. It's been a long time.' You admitted, 'I'm not like Xiao haha, I don't go and say to people, 'Tch, Yakshas has no time for idleness purging the land of demons is my contract and I will honor it till my last breath.' ' You said mocking Xiao's tone. 'Plus, I'm not Alatus. I don't respect my lord as much as I should be.' 

     'Alatus? Who is that?' Paimon asked, while looking over to traveler for answers in which he shrugged. 

    'Oh, that's Xiao.' You replied.

    'Oh.'

    After getting traveler's approval, next thing is to ask Zhongli himself if your allowed to put your contract on hold for now. As for Xiao, your not sure how he would react to your choice. It's only for a while, right?
