"My mother said I'm too romantic, she said "You're dancing in the movies,"
The ocean hummed to the tunes of her sword as the girl gritted out in frustration. Her sword pushed against the weight of her brother's power as she pulled her sword in before quickly thrusting her sword out in an elegant manner as her brother's sword slipped out of his grip.
Her eyes watched the sword as she reached out and grabbed the sword before raising both swords in a cross towards her brother who raised his hands in surrender. "Never underestimate a child of Poseidon, especially his daughters." The girl said as the boy let out a laugh. "I never underestimated you for a second, Aanya." The sound of claps broke the silence as the pair of siblings turned to their audience.
"I expect you didn't go easy on her, my boy," Chiron said as laughter echoed in Aanya's ears, she met the gaze of Chiron as his eyes spoke words of volume that she didn't understand. Confused sea green eyes belonging to her black-haired brother met hers as the two shared a shrug. "It's getting late, better get to rest" Chiron mumbled as the campers looked at the sky before following their mentor leaving the two siblings alone as they began to take their armor off.
The sky had been painted a dark navy blue almost as if the sky had been bleeding blue, the wind picked up speed as distant screams could be heard from the campers just finishing a round of capture the flag.... Or so she thought, the Storian wrote waiting for the moment she would enter her prince's world.
Goosebumps danced along her skin as she raised a hand to brush down the standing hair on her arm, the sea clashed against rocks as clouds clung together in misery of a red moon. A red moon no doubt symbolizing Rafal's return, a red moon that would change her life. Turning into the comfort of her brother she leaned her head onto his shoulder as they made their way to their cabin; cabin 3..... For the two children of Poseidon present, Percy Jackson and Aanya Kapoor. Their other siblings were far from the land that had tied them to their father.
=======================
She woke up to the sound of distant screams, one that sounded close. Quickly slipping into one of her brother's jacket the girl, Aanya, grabbed her bracelet and a lighter from her bedside table. She turned to examine the lump in the bed opposite her was asleep in the red moon night.
Ignoring the tingling that sat in the pit of her stomach, Aanya followed the sounds of wings and screams, a sound that might have only been a figment of her imagination had the bird not hooked its talons onto her shirt before pulling her off her feet.
She shifted uncomfortably as the bird traveled through her uncle's domain, the sky. She fiddled with her bracelet as she examined the source of the screams. Two girls; one blonde and the other a black-haired girl, one that looked almost delighted to be in the clutches of the bird and another that wished to be anywhere else. The three girls watched as a school came into view.
