Tedros fiddled with his fingers as they walked side-by-side. It had been a day since Agatha and Sophie had left and the two deans of both schools had given them a break and allowed the two soulmates to have their moment. "I– i" Tedros chuckled nervously as Aanya grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers together. "I wanted to say thank you," Tedros said as he stopped walking and tugged at Aanya's hand. She stopped walking and looked at him. "For making me see things more than black and white, and for the first time I can see color," He said as he looked her in the eyes.

"And I know that we're young and reckless but I do love you, I'm so in love with you that it hurts Aanya to even think of letting you go," He said as Aanya nodded at his words. "This isn't goodbye Tedros," She said as she felt the weight of her feelings come crashing down onto her. They locked eyes, green eyes clashed against her brown ones as she pulled him closer.

She could feel the tension between the them as she pulled Tedros into a kiss, her lips crashed against his as she cupped his face with both of her hands. The kiss was passionate as she expressed all the things she couldn't say in the kiss. They pulled apart breathing heavily as Tedros kissed her again, this time harder with more passion as his arm went around her back and he pulled her tighter against him.

She could feel his fear and desperation as they pulled apart. "I love you," The words caused Tedros to stop for a second as he looked at her. She nodded before repeating her words again. "I love you Tedros Pendragon, I can't help falling for you and I- I'm drawn to you." She said as her bottom lip trembled and fresh tears rolled down her cheeks. " I love you so much that it hurts to breathe," She said as she felt time slip away from her.

"We knew this would come, time isn't something that favors either of us." Tedros said as Aanya nodded, clearing her throat as she felt the air suffocate her lungs. "I'll hold you to that slushie date princess," He said, causing her to laugh. The flutter of wings made them pull away as Aanya saw another bird approach the two of them.

The bird took the couple in regard as Aanya sighed. "Someday?" She asked as she turned back to her prince. "Someday," He confirmed as she pecked his cheek before walking towards the bird. "Thank you for doing this," She told the bird as the bird hummed in response.

She paused before turning around to see Tedros already looking at her. Her heart ached to turn around but she knew better. He gave her a small smile as his eyes spoke another tale.

The bird had dropped her in the 'capture the flag' forest as she made her way to the big house. Tedros occupied her thoughts as she remembered that his jacket was in her backpack. She had yet to return her brother Triton's jacket which was also in her backpack along with a letter from Professor Dovey that she had to give to Chiron.

She made it out of the forest as she heard the voice of some campers. She walked towards the voices as they stopped talking when they saw her. "Aanya," She recognized the voice, it belonged to Will Solace. "Percy's been looking for you," He said as they started walking towards the direction of the big house.

"I- you look nice," A young camper said as his cheeks were pink. "Oh, um this is my little brother James," Will said as he explained how James arrived at camp and was claimed as a child of Apollo. She could see that the other campers had stopped and started to look in her direction as she saw Percy and Chiron leaving the big house. Percy's eyes widened as he looked at Chiron before looking at her, he sprinted across the field before he threw his arms around her and lifted her up.

They spun around in a circle as Percy placed her down before he assessed her. "Where have you been?" He asked as she looked at Chiron who nodded. "In a fairy tale," She said as Percy pouted. "That's not funny," He said as Chiron approached them.

Aanya handed him the letter as Chiron smiled at the words in the letter. "Professor Dovey gives me her regards," He mumbled as he looked back at Aanya before realizing what this meant. "My girl, you've met him," Chiron said as Aanya nodded knowing who this was about.

They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder and yet, Tedros's absence made her heart ache. " Who is he??" Percy asked as Aanya thought of the best way to explain that she'd been in a world where fairy tales existed. "That's a story for another time," Aanya said as she thought of her soulmate and the possibility of never seeing him again. But what Aanya didn't know was that their bond had caused a bridge between two worlds. . . one that would remain open and pull both worlds together.
