Aanya had had enough of her dress although it wasn't as bright, pink or puffy as Agatha's dress her skin called out of the familiar comfort of her brother's jacket or her loose camp half-blood t-shirt. She walked down the set of stairs as she fiddled with her fingers before resting them on the sides of her dress as she tried not to fall down.

She had managed to convince professor Dovey to keep her black and white snake patterned converse as she had picked out the yellow dress. Agatha walked alongside her as they were led to a hall with the 'Evers' on one side and the 'Nevers' on another. "I have to find Sophie," Agatha said as soon as they saw the crowd of black-dressed nevers. "I know, I'll save you a seat," Aanya knew better than to feel hurt that the girl's priority was Sophie but she also knew that she'd give anything to be with her family, back at home.

She could feel the familiar tingle of the tattoo on her collarbone with the initials T.P as she sat down. It wasn't intentional but it was there when she was born, it had always been there as a reminder that her story had already been written; it had always been there as a reminder that she was meant for someone in the same way her brother was meant for Annabeth.

Her father wasn't pleased but he had hoped whoever was meant for her loved her the way that she deserved to be loved. On the other hand, her brothers were still the overprotective idiots they had been after she'd lost Luke Castellan, her brother in everything but blood.

Luke had been the first one to teach her how to hold a sword and become a master of understanding the weapon. She knew that he hadn't had many choices and that he had wished for a better chance with his father but he'd shown her the power of love and friendship. He'd always been there for her when she was younger, she had arrived at camp at the age of 8 with a heart filled with curiosity.

At the age of 8 he'd become her first friend at camp and her protector, before she'd gotten claimed and met any of her brothers or even her father, Luke Castellan had practically raised her and yet, she felt as if she had abandoned him when he had needed her. "You did all you could little serpent, I'm sorry." That had been the last thing he'd said to her before he had stabbed her in the stomach and she fell into the darkness.

Her thoughts were broken when Agatha walked back to her and sat down. "Welcome first year students, I am Professor Dovey dean for the school for good," All of the evers started cheering loudly. "Evers! Evers! Evers! Evers! Evers!" The cheers died down as the red-head spoke up. "And I am Lady Lesso, dean for the school for evil," The nevers started cheering. "Nevers! Nevers! Nevers! Kill you! Kill you! Kill you!" Aanya watched as the school had forced the students apart as evers and nevers, she couldn't help but wonder if this is how some of the campers felt because of the children of the 'Big Three'.

Professor Dovey raised her staff and banged it against the hall floor to gather everyone's attention. "As per tradition, the winning school from last year us again, imagine that, will now grace us all with a display of their chivalrous talents. . . Gentleman," Professor Dovey banged her staff three times as the hall doors swung open.
