"Maybe it's cause I got a little bit older, maybe it's all that I've been through,"
Aanya walked side-by-side next to Tedros who kept glancing at the girl. For him she looked like a princess, his princess and he wanted to know everything about her that there was to know.
The pair walked in silence as Tedros led her to the swordsmanship class, she was wearing a pair of pants that Professor Dovey had given her to use for this class and one of Tedros's shirts. The shirt was a little loose but it looked perfect on her, Tedros even offered to leave a jacket of his in her room which Aanya thought of as a sweet gesture.
"Why did Professor Dovey address us as the future rulers of Cam–camelot?" Aanya asked as she hesitated to pronounce the word. "I- - My father was— he was the king of Camelot, King Arthur and since I'm his only son it makes me his heir to the throne," Tedros answered as Aanya pulled at the hem of Tedros's shirt.
"What about your father?" He asked as Aanya wondered where to start. "How about I explain it after class?" She said as Tedros raised an eyebrow. "My story's pretty long," She said as Tedros bumped her shoulder with his. "I'm not going anywhere," He said as Aanya let out a laugh at his response.
Ahead of the two was a clearing where distant clangs of metal could be heard and Aanya knew right away that they had reached their destination of the swordsmanship class. Disappointment filled her as she wished to have spent a little longer with her soulmate. . . her soulmate, the term seemed so unfamiliar yet comforting as Silva approached the pair.
"How kind of you both to join us," He said sarcastically as Aanya looked around her and spotted a familiar redhead and brunette sparing against each other. It was the same brunette that had given Agatha a rose, Alejandro.
"Sorry Silva, it won't happen again," Tedros said as Silva looked at Aanya. "I do believe we should get you settled in," He motioned for them to follow him as they walked around the forest clearing watching all the boys starting their journey of swordsmanship.
She could see a range of weapons from swords, crossbows, bow and arrows to shields, spears and axes. The ax reminded her of the cyclops who she had yet to visit. "We have a range of weapons and we advise each of our students to choose a weapon that would become a third arm or natural weapon for them, something that would be comfortable for them to use." Silva said as Aanya thought of her sword, she needed her bracelet.
"We can start with assessing your skills with each weapon before you decide which weapon is yours," Silva said as all the boys stopped whatever they were doing as if they hadn't seen a girl before. A girl that defied the ever standards.
"What's a girl doing here?" "She seems to be lost," Whispers went around as Silva addressed the crowd. "As discussed by Professor Dovey and I we have both agreed to allow Aanya to join our swordsmanship class and I'd advise you all to be cautious of her . . . she could put you boys in a lot of trouble." Chuckles went around."If she's supposed to be trouble for us, let's see how she does against us." One of the boys said as Silva motioned for Alejandro to come forward.
