I was asleep peacefully till a pounding on my window woke me up.

I groaned "ughhh" I knew who it was. Jamie. My best friend. I slowly picked my head up and saw her at my window waving. The way my house was set up was two floors. My room was upstairs it was facing the window of the person next door. The people before us might have snuck out a lot because a few of the bricks under my window were missing in a way to create a ladder from the ground up.
I sluggishly walked over to the window and opened it. "What do you want?" I walked away from the window and started to get ready for school. "We do this every day Lu. Now hurry." I didn't have to worry about Molly because she was staying with her best friend Gwen.

I then grabbed my bag and walked over to my bed and reached my hand under it and grabbed two shoe boxes. Inside them was where I discreetly hid my drugs. I grabbed some pills and hid them in my bag.

Me and Jamie walk into the school and start to head to our lockers. As we're walking someone bumps into me. "Hey jackass watch it" I said turning around to see who bumped into me. Vance hopper. He stops dead in his tracks, and turns around. "What did you say to me?" I knew where this was going so I handed Jamie my bag. "Are you deaf? I said "HEY JACKASS WATCH IT" I said louder. He gets closer to intimidate me.
He never scared me. Sure he was taller and bigger than me but I can still beat his ass. I stepped closer and looked up at him, "what the fuck are you gonna do about it?" I sneered. Everyone knew what was going to happen so they backed up but formed a circle. "Back up Lucy I'm not in the fucking mood". "No" and with that answer he swung on me, but we've fought multiple times so I knew he was going to. So I ducked and lunged forward grabbing his hips and throwing him to the ground. And I started to punch as some people cheered and boo'd.
He put his hand to his face to block the punches. He then quickly grabbed my hair and threw me off of him and onto the ground. It was a bitch move. He was next to me punching the shit out of me, till I was able to use my legs and kick him away. I attempted to lunge at him but someone grabbed me before I could. The principal. "Miss. Parker and Mr. Hopper! I want to see the both of you in my office now! Everyone get to class!" I was so annoyed. Jamie stood next to me as everyone walked away and the principal went to her office. She stuck out a hand for me, which I gladly accepted.
"I'll take your bag to your locker and I'll help with your cuts but you've got to stop getting into fights they're gonna hold you back" she commented. " I know, I know thanks for your help Jamie" I said as I gave her a quick hug before walking off. " This is all your fault" Vance said through his teeth. I looked at him in disbelief, " my fault?! How? You bumped into me" I spat back. " well if you weren't in my way we wouldn't be doing this" .
I scoffed at his remark, " Well maybe if you didn't have a stick so far up your ass we wouldn't have any problems"
He stopped dead in his tracks " what did you say? " He stared at me with his piercing blue eyes. " God you really are deaf" his eyes got colder. He clenched his jaw and fist. I could tell he wanted to swing, so I shifted my legs apart to get ready. " Ehem" the clearing of someone's throat caught our attention. It was the principal again. " I thought I asked the both of you to meet me in my office, so why do I see you both standing in the hall? " He questioned.

I sit in his office drowning out his boring ass voice till something pulls me out. "WHAT?!" it was Vance. 'God he annoys the shit out of me'. "Miss Parker? Did you understand what I just said?" The annoying ass teacher said. " No I wasn't paying attention" I said blankly. He let out a long sigh, before taking of his glasses and rubbing the bridge of his nose. " I said, you both will be receiving detention for today and tomorrow understood? " my eyes widened. 'What am I supposed to do if Molly is home by herself? What if dad comes home mad and takes it out on her? ' a million thoughts ran through my mind.
"no I'm not doing that" I said in a rude tone. "Well Miss Parker you're other option is getting the police involved, it's your choice" I rolled my eyes. "i'll to detention" I muttered and leaned back in the chair. "Alright then, Mr hopper? Your answer?" Vance rolled his eyes I could tell he was pissed. "Whatever I guess" the principal grew a smile "great! I will see you both after school from 3:20 till 5:20, you're both excused."

As I'm walking to class I noticed Vance walking behind me almost as if he was following me. "God so you're deaf and a stalker?" I said "god do you ever shut up? My old class got too full so I got moved that's the point of the paper" he said rudely and held up a crumpled piece of paper. I rolled my eyes and opened the class door. "Now if yo- ah Vance and Lucy how nice of you to join us Vance your seat is right there" Mr Wall said pointing to the desk in front of mine.
I had a visibly shocked expression on my face. I rolled my eyes and walked right out of class, I was not going to deal with all that right now. I walked to the girls bathroom to avoid those stupid hall monitors.

I was passed out on the floor of the bathroom using my bag as a pillow till the bell woke me up, I don't remember even falling asleep. When I stood up and brushed off my clothes, I decided to ditch the rest of the day. Instead, I headed straight for the main doors and went off to pick up Molly early.
