It was still relatively cold, being at around 45° (Fahrenheit) not to cold considering Colorado can get colder but still. Me, Jamie and Molly walk out and saw Finney waiting. "Finn!" Jamie ran up to him a gave him a hug "Jamie! Hey Molly hi Lucy" "where is Gwen?" Molly asked worried for her friend.
"Oh she's sick" he said disappointed "hey Lucy I'm going to walk with Finn is that ok?" Before I had the chance to protest she started to walk away with him leaving me and Molly. I was a little upset but it was whatever. I walk Molly to school, halfway there a boy around her age runs up to us holding some chocolates and flowers, sunflowers, Molly's favorite.
"Uhh h-h hello Molly I was um wondering if you uh wanted to b-b be my girlfriend?" He was visibly shaking and sweating a bit. He extended the gifts and Molly grows a huge smile "ohhh! Yes! The moment I walked through the front doors the principal greeted me and he was very very angry "Miss Lucy Parker I need to speak to you" he started to walk to his office and I had to follow. I started to look around for Jamie to see if she knew what was going on. Once I found her I saw she was talking and laughing with Finney, she didn't notice me at all. I don't know why but it upset me. The moment that the principal closed the door he started shouting "DO I NOT MAKE IT CLEAR? EVERY TIME YOU ARE IN HERE YOUR ALWAYS IN TROUBLE!"

I was mad and I needed to calm down so I smoked. I walked around town and went through 3 cigarettes but I was still mad. I needed to find Vance and fight him. I walked to the grab 'n go and didn't see him there ' shit man where the fuck is he?! ' I started to walk again and I smoked another cigarette. I decided to walk through the park, trying to calm down I sat and smoked till someone threw a piece of paper at me. I looked at the direction where the paper was thrown and saw Stacy Cunningham. Rumor has it that her and Vance are hooking up.
I stood up and walked over to her, threw my bag in the floor, and put out the flame of my cigarette. "What the fuck was that for?" "You got Vance suspended for some stupid fight" ' this bitch' "and why does that concern you Stacy?"
"Well, me and Vance have a fling" she said with a shit eating grin on mer face "good for you? I don't give a fuck" "you better shut your mouth Parker before I beat the shit out of you" ' well I do need a fight' I shoved her "like fuck you are"
She tried the grab my hair but I punched her in the stomach. As she bent over I grabbed her head and slammed it against my knee. Her nose started to bleed and she fell over. I got down next to her and started to punch the hell out of her. Once she started to cry is when I stopped. I got up and leaned on my knees "say some shit like that again and I will beat you to a pulp" I kicked her and walked away. I heard someone running towards me.
"Yo what the hell was that?" I turn and saw it was Vance. He handed me my bag. "Your fling, she was saying it was my fault for the fight when you started it" he put his hands up in defense "hey it was just pay back for you beating the living shit out of me" I rolled my eyes and glanced at his watch and saw it was 3 I had to go pick up Molly soon. "Any way talk some sense into that chick" and I jogged off.

Molly walked up to me without her gifts, but she was holding hands with a different boy, that wasn't James, they waved to each other and Molly walked up to me "who was that? I thought you were dating James?" She grew a huge smile "that was William, I broke up with James and started to date him instead " we started to walk home and she told me all about her day.

Once I got home dad was there waiting. I rushed Molly upstairs and he approached me "Lucy, WHY THE HELL DID I GET A CALL AT WORK SAYING YOU GOT SUSPENDED?!" I didn't respond, just looked away "LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU" he slapped me and pushed me to the ground, when I tried to get up he started to kick me. He kicked my sides and started to stomp on my stomach it hurt so much. I couldn't breathe. I started to cry "stop.... Please… stop.. it hurts...." I put my hands up to block the hits.
He kicked the side of my head, and everything went dark.
