XXV

Sam's POV

The plane has landed in South Korea. I stepped out of the plane and fix myself. I make sure that no one will recognize me. Nathan oppa picked us up and we're on our way to his rented apartment. 

"I thought you're in Europe?" I asked Nathan oppa.

"I'll tell you later once we're home." I nodded and that when I knew that something happened here that needs Nathan oppa's presence.

I was watching the scenery outside and I realized that it's already autumn, that means our anniversary is coming soon. Until now, I don't have any news about them. I miss them so much that I didn't realized that I was crying. 

We got in the apartment and it looks like we're all gonna fit in. I put my things in my room and lay on the bed. My head starts to hurt again but I just close my eyes and relax. It's been like this everyday and that's when I knew that my condition is getting worse and worse. Sometimes, I forgot my cousins and point them out as a stranger. 

"Sam, Nathan wants to talk outside." Erin unnie said.

"Okay, I'll come out." I stood up and went outside. All of them are waiting for me at the living room as I sit on the couch.

"What are we gonna talk about?" I asked them. 

"I'm gonna straight to the point, Sam. I didn't went to Europe." I saw the guiltiness on Nathan oppa's eyes. 

"I went here because someone called us that they need your presence here."

"Why would they need my presence?"

"Because they found out that your family death was not an accident. They were killed."

My world stopped as Nathan oppa said those words. I was speechless and I couldn't think of anything.

"The suspect is already at the jail. She was on the for 3 days until she decided to surrender herself at the police station. She admitted that she's the one who unscrewed the brakes of the car and exposed her sister's plan. She said her guilt was eating her up."

"Who's the suspect?" I tried to calm down myself as my head starts to hurt again.

"Lee Hwayoung. The sister of Lee Hayoon." 

I heavily sighed as I heard that name again. She already took my members away from me and now, she even killed my family using her sister. I wanted to cry but the rage in my heart was prevailing. 

"The truth about your accident came out too."

I looked up to Nathan oppa and was confused on how the truth came out.

"I... I gave the CCTV record of your accident to the police."

Everyone in the room went silent and shocked when Nathan oppa confessed. 

"H-how?" I whispered.

"I went to your dorm, Sam. I searched if there's any CCTV camera there and I found one. So I went to the security of the dorm but they told me that they're not allowed to let someone in. However, I have no choice that time. I want to give you a justice and let the truth comes out, so I bribed the security and they let me get the record. And that's how the truth came out."

My eyes started to clouded with tears. I was touched by Nathan oppa's action. I realized again how I'm lucky that they're my cousins and how they are willing to do anything just to fight for the truth.

"Lee Hayoon was on the run for 2 weeks after being announced that she's the most wanted person. The police were scattered around South Korea until someone called the police that they saw Lee Hayoon at one of the empty house in Seoul. Hayoon surrendered herself that time because the police already surrounded the house and she had nowhere to go. That night, she also admitted that she planned all these things until she make you disappear in people's eyes and steal your spot."
