XVIII

Sam's POV

I was looking at the car window, admiring the city view while listening to some upbeat song to distract myself when Manager oppa suddenly asked me something.

"Oh Sam, have you seen them earlier?"

"Who?" I asked back politely.

"Your member and the other managers. Sadness noona texted me and said that your members were looking for you before they fell asleep and I thought you bumped into them." Manager oppa keep his eyes on the road while taking a glance a the rear view.

'Yeah they were in front of me before I went down'

"Uhm, no. I took the stairs 'cause the lift was too slow and I'm getting late." Manager oppa nodded and didn't asked for questions anymore until we got in our destination. Manager oppa just dropped me in front of the company as Sadness unnie give him an order to do an errands for her. I sighed as I enter the company. I composed myself so no one will notice I went through yesterday and today. I'm inside the recording studio and I saw the song that I will record today. 

I didn't know if the producer did this intentionally or just coincidence?

As I look at the paper where the lyrics is, my eyes starts to clouded with tears. I heard the producer calling me and we started to record.

Even before I started to sing, a tear already escaped in my eyes. I tried to stop myself from crying before the producer notice.

Even if I pretend not to know everything and look up
Guеss it's already useless

The memories of yesterday flood back. The pain that I felt yesterday, It's still here. I tried to forget but maybe the song is right, no matter how I forget and pretend that it didn't happened, it's already useless.

I can't take it anymore and just burst into tears when the song ended. The producer stayed at his seat quietly while looking at me with his worried eyes. I deep breathe and wiped my tears and face him.
