He Did Have Remorse

Okay so this is a rather foolish one that I feel I need to respond to. That is, "Connor is not a good man. He killed his father without remorse."

Well, for starters, his "father" not only murdered someone in front of a child without remorse, but also, in the Forsaken novel, threatened a ten-year-old at swordpoint while interrogating the boy's father, later explaining he would have killed him if his father did not comply.

I know Connor is a polarizing character in this community, but I can't just sit here and let people say things about him that are either entirely meaningless, or untrue. In the first page of that same novel, he expressed his sorrow for having to kill Haytham. In addition to this, he was extremely hesitant about killing Haytham even after cutting all ties with him after the incident with Washington, and had to be encouraged by Achilles. Finally, yes he had his signature "bitch please" look as Haytham was dying, but really would your reaction really be any different if your father was strangling you and forced your hand to save your own life?

There is definitely a lot more to be said and for me to say about Connor as a character, and even Haytham as well, but for now I will leave it at this: It is not fair to say things that are outright untrue about the characters in this series purely because you don't like them.
