Inei sluggishly walks to school, swaying a tad.
Is this my side effect? Sea sickness?
When he arrives, Azami stands at the front of the school, bouncing up and down.
"Good morning Inei!"
Inei slowly walks past her, and she catches up, looking at his face.
"Inei, you don't look so good; maybe you should go home and rest?"
Inei shakes his head.
I'm already here. I'm going to fight through it.
He holds Yasu's book in his arm.
Maybe reading this will calm it down.
As Inei walks, Azami walks beside him, her personality as peppy as ever. When they get to the doorway, Chura stands sluggish as well.
"Hey, Chura! You alright?"
Chura shakes her head.
"I don't feel sick, but I just feel so fatigued and heavy."
Metal.
As they go in, they sit in their chairs, and Inei opens the book, then, suddenly, he looks up, and Yasu stands in front of him.
"Hey Inei, you don't have to read it immediately because I asked you if you had."
I didn't even hear her footsteps, and she's got a lucky one.
Inei shakes his head and reads it down, then hears Yasu's voice again.
"We are still going out tonight, right?"
Inei's eyes shrink.
Oh. I forgot about that. I've been feeling so sick I've just been thinking about going home.
Inei looks up, and her eyes are seemingly so happy.
If I tell her I can't, it will crush her, and she won't trust me. If I do, I'll end up hurting her. After all, I became sicker because I spent time with her. Well, maybe it won't be worse.
Inei nods, and Yasu smiles big.
"Okay! I'll go with you to the gym so I can go in with you and sit down and watch."
Inei nods, and Yasu silently goes back to her seat. Inei then notices Aneko walk in, her uniform insinuating that she is sweating pretty severely; the teacher sees.
"Um, Aneko, are you alright? You're sweating a lot."
Aneko yells at him.
"I don't need you to tell me I'm sweating! I know I'm sweating! I'm fine!"
Aneko then angrily goes and sits down in her chair. The bell rings, and class begins; after some time, something hits Inei, a piece of paper thrown from Azami, he opens it, and it reads:
"Where's Yui?"
Inei looks up from the paper and looks around the room, then suddenly, the door opens, and Yui stands there with a sleepy look.
"Sorry, teach. Slept in on accident."
She walks in and sits in her chair, immediately falling asleep.
Is that her side effect? It must have been hitting her yesterday, so she began to leave first. Tree right? Well, trees are peaceful, and so is sleep.
Regardless, the professor continues throughout the class, a student raising his hand, the professor calling on him.
"Um, I know it's cold and all outside, but it is scorching hot right here!"
He sits next to Aneko, and she looks at him, then covers her face and leans down. The student on the other side of her does the same.
"It is hot for me too."
And the same thing happens with the student in front and behind Aneko. Aneko then yells.
"Quit calling me hot!"
She gets up and leaves angrily. The four students look at each other.
"Now it's cold again."
Poor Aneko.
The professor shrugs it off and continues with the lecture. When it finishes, the group of five leave, a couple of girls coming out of the girls' bathroom.
"The heater must be located in the bathroom."
Everybody looks at each other, and everyone but Inei enters the bathroom.
I may need to go into the boy's bathroom to throw up.
Right when Inei says it, he runs into the bathroom.Azami and the others stand in front of a stall, radiating heat. Azami speaks.
"Aneko, are you okay?"
Aneko yells back.
"What do you think, Azami?! I didn't sleep well because I could not wear a blanket, my uniform feels like it's smothering me, and now people can't tolerate me because the heat is affecting other people too!"
All the girls look at each other with frowns, but Azami still has a smile.
"They can't tolerate your hotness Aneko. Come on, class is over; we like you for you, and we don't care if you're like a heater; you can always be with us."
Silence rings in the bathroom, and then Aneko slowly opens the door.
"You're not gonna make fun?"
Everyone shakes their heads, and Aneko emerges in her sweat-soaked uniform. Azami pulls out her second uniform and hands it to Aneko.
"You can change and wash it later. We'll wait outside for you."
Aneko nods with a smile, closing the door to change, and the girls walk out, then notice Inei is gone.
"Where is-"
Before Azami finishes, they hear heaving coming from the boy's bathroom. Chura speaks now.
"Damn. Aneko and Inei are getting the worst effects, aren't they?"
Yui says casually.
"Maybe someone should go in and check on him."
All four of them look at each other, and Azami steps back.
"He's an amazing friend, but I'm not going there."
Chura shrugs.
"Suit yourself."
Yui leans her head into the restroom.
"Anyone but Inei in here? Because if you are, three women are coming in because we're checking on our friend, so you better be weary!"
They wait for a few seconds, and then Yasu, Chura, and Yui go in.
"Inei?"
Yasu says this, and there is more vomiting. They follow the sound and see Inei leaning over the toilet, vomiting. They stand at the entrance of the stall, Yasu speaking.
"It's okay, Inei. If you gotta get it out, get it out."
Chura goes and stands at the door, leaning on it as the door frame also leans in.
"I wonder if me feeling heavy myself also influences everyone else for me to feel heavy too."
Yui smiles.
"Everything will be fine. It just needs to go through the motions."
Yui sounds like a stoner. The effect is doing her dirty.
Inei continues to vomit, waving for them to go away. Yasu speaks.
"Are you sure you want us to go? We can stay and wait for you."
Inei waves his hand, and Yasu nods.
"Okay, we'll be on the study grounds."
Yui and Yasu walk over to Chura, who opens the door, and a janitor stands with keys at the door, and a boy is standing next to him. The girls kind of chuckle and Chura exclaims as they try to flee.
"Sorry! Our friend is in there, and he's very sick and throwing up, so we wanted to ensure he's okay!"
With that, they take off quickly; Azami and Aneko, who were waiting outside for them taking off after them.
