The first time Meili had attended church with her new family, Enoch had gotten that strange feeling again.. it felt as if someone was watching her, and it was more intense than the last time.. it felt as if these mysterious eyes were right behind her.. she felt as if she would eventually freak someone out if she stayed in crowded areas for too long, so she fled to her favourite balcony.
"Why did you leave?" An unfamiliar voice asked..
Enoch turned around to see a familiar face, it was a boy who had been attending church for as long as she has.. she had never heard the boy talk, but she knew his face. He was almost always smiling, and had greyish blue wavy hair, and greyish maroon eyes.
"I was just feeling a little anxious. I hope I didn't concern you." Enoch replied, nervously.
"Ah, so do you mind if I stay here as well?" The boy asked.
"Umm.." Enoch had a strange feeling about the boy, but didn't want to seem rude "no. You can stay."
The boy smiled at Enoch and sat down beside her. "My name is Lazir, in case you were wondering."
Enoch smiled back "I was, actually. And my name is Enoch." she replied. It felt good to finally have some company. She always waited outside while her father had to tend to some "important business" in one of the buildings with the other adults. "Do you even know what goes on in those buildings, Lazir?" She asked. "Well.. it's kind of secret.. I've been in there once, but I messed something up, so I'm not allowed in there for a while.. I have no idea what they're doing now." Lazir replied. "What did you mess up?" Enoch asked. Lazir hesitated for a moment, then gave an answer "we were paying respects to someone who had died, when I accidentally knocked their urn off the alter.. their ashes weren't in there, as their body had never been found, but it still made everyone angry.. so I was kicked out." he said shakily.
"Well.." Enoch answered "if you have nowhere to go when those meetings are happening, you can always talk to me over here." She smiled.
