The mission unfolded with remarkable success as they navigated the treacherous territory controlled by the cartel, emerging with their lives intact. Graves played a pivotal role, earning Ghost's deep appreciation.
Soap burst out of the building, firmly restraining Hassan, who was struggling to break free.
"Move! Move!" Rodolfo urgently commanded, as an armored vehicle pulled up before them.
"I am a Quds Force Major! You have no right—" Hassan started to protest, but Soap forcefully pinned him against the car, making way for the vehicle's door. Ghost hurried to the other side, swiftly entering.
"Shut the fuck up!" Ghost overheard Soap shouting as he guided Hassan inside.
"You will face severe consequences for this!" Hassan shrieked. Soap took hold of Hassan's head, making him sit in the car.
"Right on time, my friend," Alejandro acknowledged, addressing Rodolfo as he settled into his seat. Soap found a spot beside Hassan, while Ghost sat across from him, vigilant to ensure Hassan didn't attempt any sudden escapes.
"Wasn't about to leave you behind," Rodolfo quipped, shifting the car into gear.
"Our exfiltration route goes through Oimeda; we might encounter resistance," Ghost cautioned.
"We've got close air support; we can handle it," he added, and notices Hassan's futile attempts to break free.
"Cut that out, or I'll tie you to the car's hood!" Ghost snapped, his hand reaching out to grab Hassan's shirt. Hassan merely smirked.
Ghost seethed, pushing Hassan towards Soap. Soap unsheathed his knife and pressed it against Hassan's throat.
"You'd do well to listen to my friend here," Soap warned. Hassan continued to glare at Soap, as though he were a mere annoyance that needed to be swatted away. Nevertheless, he ceased his struggle.
"We're secure," Soap reported to Alejandro when he saw Hassan had stopped resisting.
"Move out! Shadow-1 package secured. We're heading back," Ghost radioed Graves, giving Hassan a stern look, who now appeared lost in thought.
Night had fallen by the time they reached their destination. They'd resorted to placing a bag over Hassan's head when he seemed a bit too interested in their surroundings. Soap and Alejandro were the first to disembark, forcefully pulling Hassan out of the vehicle."Time to wake the fuck up," Soap growled at the man. Ghost couldn't help but appreciate Soap's intensity. The ordeal they had endured to capture this man would have left anyone seething.
Soap seized one of Hassan's arms, while Alejandro took the other, leading him to a designated spot in front of the truck.
"On your knees," Soap ordered, pushing Hassan into a kneeling position. Ghost observed from a distance, curious about how this would unfold.
Meanwhile, Graves was setting up a camera in front of another vehicle.
"Ya'll got a clear picture?"
"Crystal," Shepard's voice echoed, albeit slightly distorted by static.
"All set." Laswell followed, the lighting of a cigarette being heard from the speaker."Alright, we are live, folks." Graves saunters over to Hassan, hooking his thumbs into the straps of his vest.
"Do you speak Arabic?" Hassan asked casually as if the situation was a normal occurrence.
"No."
"Farsi?"
