I am just another promise you couldn't keep

She couldn't believe her eyes. She knew she couldn't avoid him forever as they both worked in same field. Being best in construction business they are ought to cross paths one day but she did her best to avoid him. She would not attend parties where he would go and she would leave projects which they might collide. She did all this to protect Leon from him.

She couldn't imagine what will happen if he find out about Leon. "I should leave you both to get started" Jin words snapped her out of her trance. "Can you give me ride? We can talk on the way about project" Yoongi suggested innocently but Y/n could see evil smirk on his face. "Sure" Y/n smiled awkwardly at Jin and grabbed her things to leave. "I will see you later then" she made her way out to her car. "Wait for me"

"Not so happy to see me?" he teased her making her fist her hands. "Where do you want me to drop you?" she asked him ignoring his comment. "Let's go to your office" she glared at him sideways. "Why?" he made himself so comfortable in her car. "To discuss project" she scoffed at his words. "I don't know what games you are playing but listen to me Yoongi. I will never fall for your words again"

"We will see that" he smirked which made her blood boil. "I have no intentions of getting involved with you again. I will be completely professional with you" she told him driving to her company. She knows she should have said no but he will be visiting her soon anyway. Besides she has to agree he is the best when it came to work. That is one of the reasons why she adored him before.

She walked not sparing a glance at him to see if he is following. "Y/n" Hoseok was about to say something but his eyes changed. "What the hell is he doing here?" Hoseok is sweetest person anyone could meet but his anger is something you would not go through either. "I will explain later" she grabbed his hand and pulled him in to her room. "Chloe show Mr. Min to our meeting room" she ordered before leaving with him.

"Come this way Mr. Min" Yoongi felt something sting his heart and his eyes burned with jealousy. He wanted to pull her away from Hoseok and punch him for touching her but he restrained. He didn't know why he still felt that way but he couldn't stop it. "Lead the way" he told her cheekily trying to distract himself.

"What the hell Y/n" Hoseok pushed her hand away making her stumble. "You brought him here" she sighed seeing he is upset. "Jin thinks we should work with him for this project" she explained whole thing to him. "You should have rejected this project" Hoseok ran his hand though his hair. "You know we can't do that. When Aria got in accident we lost almost half of our shares. If we don't build contacts we cannot recover if something like that happen again"

As much as he wanted to object he can't. After Aria accident he has seen how much Y/n struggled. She tried so hard to get this company here. Besides Kim Seokjin is one of the richest people in the city. Being connected to him will bring more clients to them. "Please be careful. I don't want you to get hurt" he grabbed her in his arms and squeezed her. She smiled not knowing someone was watching them with jealousy.

"So shall we discuss" after few minutes they all sat in her meeting room ready to discuss. "Can I get all the permissions and blue print?" Yoongi asked not beating around the bush. She handed him all the things and waited for him to speak. "We need to do some modifications to these parts" he took pencil and pointed to things that needed to be corrected. They discussed for few more minutes and meeting ended. "We will see you next week then once the changes are made" Hoseok told him beating Y/n. "We can discuss on Saturday evening. I won't be available later for a week" they looked at each other worried. Saturday is Leon birthday and Y/n is throwing a party in her house.

"We will see or we can schedule when you come back" Hoseok suggested. "We can't finish on time if we work like this" Y/n agreed. "I will get the details to you by then" Hoseok was about to object but she grabbed his hand silencing him. Yoongi raised his eye brow at their closeness. He wanted to punch Hoseok for being so close to something his but he didn't object. He is here to take his revenge not to win over her.

Y/N:

I packed my things and told Hoseok I will be leaving. I promised Leon we will go shopping and I need to finalize his birthday theme too. "Are you free today?" I asked Hoseok hoping he can join me for shopping. "Jiwon is coming to visit me" he seemed sorry so I shook my head at him. Jiwon is his sister who lives in abroad. I told him it is fine and decided to leave.

"Nadia did Leon came?" I asked her as soon as I got home. "Yes ma'am. He is playing upstairs" I thanked her and walked to my room. I quickly got shower and changed in to casual jeans and grey hoodie. "Hey champ" I greeted Leon as I walked in his room. "Mommy" he jumped in to my arms making me chuckle. "Did you miss me?" he nodded his head snuggling in to my neck.

"Ready for shopping?" he cheered in excitement making me smile. I told Tom to drive us to mall. "What do you want first?" I asked Leon when we reached the mall. "Toys" he screamed pointing to toy store. "Ok" I took him in my arms and went to toy store. Body guards and Tom were following us all the while. "See this" he was running around the entire store checking the toys. I waited for him at the first rack letting him decided what he want. He picked three cars and came out.

After a while we were done with shopping. I brought him few toys and dresses for his birthday. "I will carry them" Tom took them from me. We were done with shopping quickly and went home. Leon was tired so he slept before reaching home. I know he would be tired so I took him to something in the mall.

I placed him gently on the bed and covered him with blanket. I went downstairs to eat as I didn't eat anything since morning. "I will heat your food" Maria said preparing it while I sat thinking about all the events. "You can leave once you place the dinner. I will see you in the morning" I told Maria knowing it is already late. She nodded her head and continued working.

"Yoongi I did it" I jumped in to his arms excited. "I can't believe I got the scholarship" he chuckled which was very rare sight. "I know you would do it Y/n" I grinned at him. "This calls for celebration" he cheered making me laugh. "I will invite Aria and Hoseok too" I started rambling about the college and all while he stared at me with a smile on his face.

"Ahh" I shrieked in surprise when the rain poured all of sudden. "It is raining" I closed my eyes enjoying the drops of water that fell on us. "You will get cold" he scolded me but I never listened. "Come and join me" I pulled his hand making him dance with me. He looked at me weirdly but never objected.

"You will be the death of me one day"

I snapped out when I felt something drop on the floor. I looked around and realized Maria already left and food was placed on the table. I got up to check what the noise was. I stood amused at the kitchen door watching the sight in front of me. "Are you hungry?" I asked Leon who was sitting with Jam bottle in his hand while other hand held a spoon. "Yes"

I chuckled when he scooped jam and ate it sitting on the floor in front of refrigerator. "Come on. I will make you something" I grabbed him in my arms while he was still eating. This is my life now. I don't regret choosing Leon over Yoongi ever.
