Regret is the most painful thing in life

"Isn't that Min Yoongi you have been telling me about?" Ezra has been pestering Y/n with his questions but she was too deep in her thoughts to answer him. "I didn't expect him to behave like that. He could have bit more trust in you" she took a sip from her coffee which ran cold due to her thoughts. She winced when the coffee tasted bitter. She placed the mug on the table turning her attention to Ezra. "I can't blame him cause I didn't give him chance to trust me"

That day five years back when he stormed off of Hoseok house she should have followed him and explained it to him but she didn't. She thought she would but when she realized how capable Evan was she stopped. She wanted to explain everything to him once he cooled down but he left her. He left town and went away. No one knows where he went until three years back news came about his company. He didn't start his company when they were about to get married so Y/n wasn't aware of it.

She wanted to comfort him but knowing him he would think she came back only because of his money. So she stopped herself beside how can she explain Leon to him. He was too impulsive to think straight. That is one of the bad things about Yoongi. He doesn't think before acting on it. "Does he even know about Aria accident?" Y/n shook her head making Ezra sigh and mumble 'how dumb they both are'.

When Aria was seven months pregnant she got in to an accident which was severe. Doctors somehow saved Leon but Aria went in to coma. Aria took promise from Y/n to take care of her baby and save him from Evan if something happens to her. She has been taking care of him hoping one day she would wake up for everyone. Leon got too attached to Y/n, he started calling her mom. She never corrected him worried he will ask about his parents. She thought she can explain when he is old enough or when Aria wake up from coma.

"I am going back. I prepared food already" Ezra announced breaking her from her thoughts. She thanked him and waited till left before laying on sofa. She thought about her conversation with Yoongi earlier.

"Yoongi" he raised his eye brow. "I didn't expect to see you here" she seemed confused and worried which made Yoongi scowl. "Don't worry. I won't tell your boy friend about your secret" he said referring to Ezra. "Excuse me" Ezra got mad that he is accusing her. "A piece of advice for you she is not loyal type" all while Y/n couldn't open her mouth. She felt sad how Yoongi accused her.

By the time she composed herself he was gone. She wondered how he could talk like that when he know her. They have known each other since they were kids. They have dated for almost six years and this is how he thinks of her. Her eyes moistened with tears at his words. She missed him. She thought one day he would understand her but now she is sure she would never come back. The kiss they shared he might have thought she is cheating on him too.

She sighed getting up from the bed. Her thoughts weren't getting her nowhere. She decided to go out and try to forget about it. Getting her jacket and phone she walked out. She has stayed here when Aria was pregnant so she was familiar with this place.

When Evan started his plans Aria and Y/n came to stay here with Ezra. Aria cousin also lives here so they stayed here for a while. She walked around the streets smiling at the beautiful locations. She stopped in front of a café when she smelled fresh baked scent. She walked in and order chocolate chip cookies and a latte coffee for herself.

She thanked waiter when he placed the order on table. She was sipping her coffee when she got a call. "Hey" she smiled instantly. "How is Aria?" she took one more sip from her cup. "She is recovering it seems" she explained to Hoseok about her condition. "We need to fasten our search about Evan" she explained what happened to him making Hoseok concern too. "I will ask our detectives to find him"

"Tell them to get all details of him from the past five years. Also I want his current location and his relations as of now" she has a plan but she is not sure how it will work in her favour now. "I will get back to you" she placed her phone on the table after call. She enjoyed the warmness of coffee and soft music which was playing in the café. There were only two people present in the café apart from her.

Trip to Italy ended quicker than she thought. She was back to office after her trip. After that day Ezra took day off and forced Y/n to enjoy herself. She did shopping, had sleep over and watched movies whole night. They even baked cookies and cooked enjoying themselves. She felt energized after her trip. She felt lot better as Aria was getting better. "Hey Y/n" she was attacked by hugs as soon as she reached her office. "I missed you"

"I missed you too" She whispered to Hosoek. "I would like a hug too" she pulled away from him and smiled at Chloe. "Come here then" Hoseok wrapped his arms around her which made Y/n surprised. "Am I missing something?" she asked referring to how close they seemed. "I took your suggestion" she was happy for Hoseok. Hoseok deserved to happy and she was sure Chloe is a great choice for him. "Congrats both of you. I hope you don't neglect work though" she teased making Chloe blush.

She was more than sure they already did something while working. "Get me the files of Mr. Kim project" Chloe nodded getting back to work. Hoseok filled her on things happened while she was absent. "I informed our team to locate Evan. We got something" she stopped doing her thing and waited for him to continue. "He was in here last month. He is visiting the city frequently"

"How did we miss it? I already assigned a team to look for him" he shrugged unsure. "I don't he know either. They are working on it to check" she sighed rubbing her head. "They aren't that good at it then" he nodded agreeing. "I will monitor it myself" she got back to her work. "I am taking Chloe on date today. We will leave by six" she nodded her head. It will be closing time hand she need to go home early too. She is jet lagged too but she needs to complete her work too.

She spoke to Leon few times in this week but she missed him. She wanted to bring him back today itself but Ian refused. They were taking Leon to amusement park today. Knowing she will be tired Ian said he will drop him tomorrow.

"I need another file -" she looked up and stopped in her track as she saw it wasn't Chloe. "Hi" she greeted him. "I came to check the file" Yoongi said dropping on to the chair without bothering to reply her. "Ok" he looked at her as she was searching for the file. She looked beautiful but if you look carefully you can see dark circles around her eyes and tiredness on her face. Though he hated her what he did he couldn't help but worry for her.

She always had been worst when it came to taking care of herself. He wondered about the man in Italy. He thought she was dating Hoseok now but who was that man? As much as he said those words he know she is not the type to cheat. He thought she always been in love with Hoseok then what was she doing in Italy?

"Here" he snapped out of his thoughts to look at blue file placed in front of him. "I didn't have much time to check it. But I changed few things" he read the file and nodded his head. "I think we can talk to Jin about this plan" Jin has been one of his friends from college so it was easy for him to get involved in this project. As they were discussing about the project door opened to her room revealing Hoseok.

"I am leaving" he told her ignoring Yoongi. "Enjoy your date" Y/n said making Hoseok blush. She chuckled which made Yoongi confused. What does mean by date? Isn't she dating him? Those were the thoughts ran in his mind.
