We need darkness to enjoy the beauty of light

I groaned when I heard the knocking. I turned around and tried to sleep but knocking got aggressive. I opened my eyes and frowned in confusion. I looked around confused of where I am. "Get ready and come downstairs. We are waiting for you at dining room" I heard Jin voice outside my door. Suddenly everything came back to me from last night.

I came back to my room thinking about the kiss. I was too occupied in my thoughts that I didn't bother about changing too. I cried out in pain when I felt my neck muscles. Damn it was a bad idea to sleep in bath tub. I should have had a bath and slept in room. I got up and had a shower. I looked at my clothes which were completely soaked. I didn't even bring extra clothes. If I know we will be staying I would have packed some clothes.

I wrapped towel around me and came in to the bedroom. I looked at the bed and frowned when I saw a pair of clothes on it. I grabbed a small note kept with it.

I am thankful for him but I was confused as how he got in. I checked the door and it was locked. I decided to think later and change in to it first. It was a cream colour t-shirt dress which reached my mid thighs. I pulled the maroon sleeveless sweater which I brought with me on it. I paired it with black heels which I wore yesterday. I let my hair loose since I don't have the energy to style it. I packed my bag and cleaned the mess I made.

We might have to leave after breakfast so I prepared for it. I walked towards the dining room which was beside living room. "Good morning" I greeted Jin who was sitting with Yoongi on the table. I looked at Yoongi who was already eating his breakfast. He was wearing light blue jeans with pink sweater with white top underneath it. His blonde hair was messy and wet which made him look hot.

"Morning" he placed a plate for me. "Thanks for the dress" Jin glanced at Yoongi then smiled. "I thought you would need it" I nodded my head looking at the food.

My plate had almost everything. Toast with blueberries, bacon and fried eggs were there with coffee. I ate in silence not wanting to get involved in conversation with Yoongi. "I need to leave for some work. You can stay here if you want" Jin offered but Yoongi shook his head. "We need to leave" I took a sip of my coffee listening to them. "Besides Monday we need to start on the project"

"I hope it would be completed by this month" I smiled assuring him it will. Jin wants the complete blueprint to finish by this month end. That way we can start on construction from next month. I am also eager to finish working on it. Then I don't have to communicate with Yoongi anymore. I was pulled out of my thoughts when my phone started ringing. I moved out to answer the call.

"Hello" I answered without checking the id. "Y/n" I panicked when I heard the crying in background. "Is Leon ok?" I asked Ian who sounded tired. "He caught cold last night and has been crying to see you" I can hear Lizzy trying to calm him down but he wasn't listening. "Can you put him on the phone?" I heard him move. "Mommy" my heart broke listening to him. "Hey baby"

"Where are you?" I sighed at his sad voice. "I will come to pick you up in two hours. Can you be a good boy and listen to grandma till then" I tried to convince as much as I can. "I will wait mommy. My stomach hurts mommy" he started hiccupping. "I will ask grandma to get medicine champ. You have to drink it ok" he agreed. "I love you champ. I will be there soon" he passed the call to Ian and he said they will wait for me. I sighed looking at the phone which was disconnected.

I felt like crying hearing him in pain. I looked at my phone wallpaper which of me and Leon from his third birthday. "Are you ok?" I locked my phone hiding it. "Yeah" I said ignoring Yoongi stares. "I am sorry but I have an emergency. I need to leave" I told both Jin and Yoongi once we came back to dining room. "I will get the car ready. We can leave" Yoongi answered making me surprise. I thought he would object at least for a while but he agreed right away. "I will see you two soon then"

I got my bag and got in the car. Yoongi was already waiting for me so we started the ride as soon as I came. I kept tapping my leg anxious to reach soon. "You seem troubled" I glanced at Yoongi who was looking at the road. "I am fine" he hummed not saying anything. "Can you drop me at Mr. Hart place?" he knows the address as I stayed there before. "Sure" he turned right driving towards their house.

He is aware of my friendship with Aria and Hoseok too. Yoongi never had a problem with my relation with Hoseok before that day. I don't know what made him say those words that day either. All I know I was too caught up in the mess to chase him that day. When I decided to talk to him he was gone.

"Thank you" I thanked him getting my bag from the back. "I will see you tomorrow on Monday in office" I nodded and walked in. "Mommy" Leon ran towards me when he saw me. "Hey champ" I scooped him in my arms. "How is my champ doing?" I checked his forehead to see it was better. "He caught cold and fever yesterday night. Doctor came and checked him" I thanked Lizzy for the update. "Did he eat anything?"

"No. I made soup but he is not eating" I sighed looking at the untouched food on the table. "Do you want to eat anything?" he shook his head tightening his arms around my neck. "Let's get you to sleep" I went to my room to put Leon to sleep. "What did you eat champ?" I placed him on the bed sitting beside him. "Grandma brought oranges"

"Did she give it to you?" he shook his head guiltily. "I told you not to eat it champ" I sighed which made him mumble a small sorry. Since he was born premature his immunity is low. I don't know why but whenever he eats oranges he get cold and fever. I make sure to avoid those fruits but sadly that is his favourite fruit. "Y/n I brought the soup" Lizzy walked in carrying a tray. "Thank you" I took it from her and placed it on the bed.

"Eat and take medicine. You will be fine by morning" it took me more than half an hour to feed him. He was too stubborn so I had to persuade him by telling stories. By the time I was done feeding he was sleeping soundly. He slept entire day and I sat beside him just in case he wakes up. He woke up in evening and thankfully his fever came down.

"Hi mommy" I smiled at him. "Are you hungry?" he nodded his head. I took him in my arms and came downstairs. Ian and Lizzy were discussing something in the living room. "Hi" they smiled when they saw us. "How is my boy doing?" he jumped in to Ian arms. "You should eat something Y/n. It is already night and you haven't even drank water since morning" I smiled at her agreeing to eat. "How about we have dinner together"

"I will get it ready then" she rushed in to kitchen to inform them to get the table ready. I sat on the dining room chair closing my eyes peacefully. It didn't last as my phone started ringing. "Y/n, you have to come here" Hoseok said in urgency. "What happened?" I got up from the chair which got Ian attention too. "We got Evan"
