The saddest part about betrayal is it doesn't come from enemies

"Good Morning" Ezra greeted Y/n who just came to hospital. "Morning" she walked in and took a seat in front of him. "How is Aria?" Ezra was busy with cases and currently he was reading a case summary of the patient he needs to operate in evening. "Good" he closed the file and turned his attention towards her. "She is recovering quickly. I am planning to take her home tomorrow. Her parents are also going to stay with us"

"I can't prolong her stay here anymore. You have one week to sort out everything" Ezra promised to keep her here for one month but Aria recovered pretty quickly and she kept pestering him to discharge her. She even threatened him saying she will reveal their college pranks and outings. Beside that Ezra also knows that he has to let her go home as her family is suffering to stay in hospital.

"I will handle it. Thanks for keeping her for this long" it's been two weeks Ezra and Y/n had talk regarding Aria discharge. Y/n got so busy she barely visited Aria these days. Leon and Aria parents were staying at Ezra house for the past two weeks. They wanted to stay in hotel but he insisted and they reluctantly agreed.

Yoongi stayed back for a week then left as he has lot of meetings and work to attend. Y/n made few trips back home as well but mostly Hoseok was handling all the work there. Leon was getting used to Aria slowly and she thinks she can tell him the truth in few days. Though she wasn't sure how he would understand given his age.

"Did you find Evan?" Ezra asked snapping her out of thoughts. "I did. It will be matter of time before he expose himself" she kept tabs on Evan and their team found out he is back in the city. She already has his house details but she need to crumble Lucas before handling Evan. "I will go and check with Ian about Aria" she got up but Ezra stopped her. "Aria has been asking about you"

"I will meet her later" she walked out ignoring his words. She doesn't know how to lie to her. Aria can sense easily when Y/n is lying. "Hi" she greeted Ian who was sitting outside Aria room. "Hey" he smiled at her patting seat beside him. "What are you doing here?" she asked him confused of why he is sitting alone. "Nurse is changing Aria clothes"

"They are saying she is healed almost and can go back home" she could sense happiness in his voice. "Can we take her home next week?" Ian Hart is famous business who never asked or pleaded for anything in his life but when it comes to Aria, he would listen to whatever Y/n say. She has been a rock protecting all of them from the problem that entered Aria life. They were very thankful to god for blessing Aria with a friend and sister like Y/n.

"I hope so. I want nothing more than that too" Ian smile faded when he realized Y/n didn't say they can take her back. "Is everything alright?" she smiled and patted his hand which rested on his thigh. "Yes. Do not worry about it" she got up from the seat and checked time. "I should leave. I have a flight to catch" she was going back home for the bidding project which she participated in.

She was hoping to succeed this time so that she can bring down Lucas. She was sure it will happen with the help of Hoseok and Yoongi. "I will see you next week then" she smiled and gave him hug. "Tell Aria I said hi" she bid farewell and drove to airport.

"Miss. Y/n" Chloe greeted her when she walked inside her office. "Hi Chloe" she smiled signalling her to get the files. She doesn't have much time as she need to attend the bidding. "I already prepared the complete file" Chloe placed the file on her table. "Where is Hoseok?" she briefed the file before closing it. "He said he will meet you there directly"

"Call Tom and ask him to bring the car?" Y/n was dressed in white formal dress today. She came in cab to office from airport and told Chloe to call Tom. She grabbed file and her purse and walked downstairs. "Hi ma'am" Tom cheered happily when he saw Y/n.

"You seem awfully happy today" she said getting in the car. "You are back" he said closing the door and walking around to get in the driver seat. She didn't bother reply and Tom didn't mind either. He was happy he can see her again. Tom glanced through rare mirror to see her. He hates to say this but he terribly missed her.

Tom never said this out loud but he was head over heels for Y/n. He was around since they were kids and he always admired her courage and kindness towards others. She always treated him as her friend even though he was just a driver son. She would ask his father to let Tom sit with them in car when they used to go to school.

Tom father would drop Tom at school in car every day because of her. As he grow up his feelings for her grown too. It turned from admiration to love too soon. He knows he is not right choice for her so he never confessed to her. He decided to stay in shadow of her and enjoy her warmth as long as he can.

"Tom, can you drop me at gate and park car outside?" Tom snapped out of his thoughts and agreed. He did as she said and she walked out from gate and met Hoseok at the entrance. "Ready for the show" she took a long breath and nodded. "Let's go" they both walked inside and sat in their designated seats. Soon the bidding started.

"Thank you for coming to bidding of this project" mc announced invite speech then the actual bidding started. They already quoted the bidding amount so now they will open all the bids and it will go to highest bidder. They were all anticipating as it was one of the biggest projects of this year.

"Third highest amount was of Kim enterprises" mc announced and took next paper. Y/n fisted her hands in nervousness as only Lucas and their company were left. "So ER enterprises lost to with 1% to -" mc announced making Y/n face pale. She lost the project. "What?" she couldn't believe it. "Y/n" Hoseok nudged her making her look up. Everyone left the room as the bidding was over.

"I didn't expect you to lose this project Y/n" Lucas said walking towards them. "Congratulations on the project" she smile through her gritted teeth. "I have to thank my brother for helping me" he gestured to his side. Y/n face ran cold when she saw Yoongi walked towards them. "I did what I had to do as a brother" Yoongi grinned at Y/n and she didn't miss the evil grin he gave her.

They said right, betrayal doesn't comes enemies. It comes from those who we love trust the most.
