Chapter Ninety Three

Once the gate was opened, Pramod's sleek car slid inside and down towards the private parking space that was in the basement. Susheela's car too was parked in a reserved spot, she reminded herself to take her laptop from her car while on their way. Susheela got out of the car fished out her car keys from her duffle bag and unlocked the car. Pramod looked on silently as his girlfriend took out a laptop bag and an expensive looking handbag from the backseat of that car. She then signalled Pramod to join her as they went up through a private elevator in the basement.

Once inside the elevator, Susheela pressed her floor and the two silently waited for the doors to open on their desired floor.

As the elevator doors opened, Susheela and Pramod got out. Susheela held Pramod's hand in her's and dragged him towards her cabin that was on the right side, down the hallway. There was a lot of room space on the floor as only Susheela's, her boss's and Aryan's cabins were there with one big conference room. Pramod looked around like a small curious toddler.

Susheela came in front of her cabin and started to look for her cabin keys in her white handbag. Pramod read the nameplate and smiled brightly as it read 'CEO - SR'. It didn't take him long enough to understand that SR stood for Susheela Ruhail. He was amused and his heart was giddy as soon as he read the 'CEO' title. But he wondered how she got this title at such an young age, not that he doubted her abilities, but he was extremely confused and wanted to know more about his girlfriend's life.

Susheela finally found the key of her cabin and opened her door. She opened her door wide enough for her boyfriend to come in after her. Susheela went and sat down in her office chair and looked amused at her boyfriend who came inside the cabin with baby steps and was looking around curiously. He was looking like a lost puppy, so curious, with his eyes full of sparkle and glow and his ears perked up which indicated that he was excited. Her speculations turned right when her boyfriend finally faced her after his little tour and gleamed at her brightly, excited to know more.

"Have a seat Mr. Chautala.", Susheela said in her formal voice with a tight smile, one that she often used with her employees.

"Why, thank you.", Pramod played along and sat down in one of the chairs kept in front of her table.

"Ye aapka cabin hai?", Pramod asked, still looking around in awe.

"Haa ye mera cabin hai. Bahar naam nahi padha tumne?", Susheela asked with a smirk.

"Ha, ha padha. Magar ab toh bata dijiye ki ye sab kya hai?", Pramod asked her with eager eyes.

"Okay, so let me start from the beginning. Tumhare jo friend hai na Rohan Singh?", Susheela started to which Pramod gave a nod.

"Wo mere boss ke bete hai. Ye unhi ki fashion company hai.", Susheela ended with a smile. Pramod waited for her to continue but when she didn't he gave her a flat look.

"Okay okay bata rahi hu, looks mat do. To answer your first question, yes, I know Rohan Singh because his subject is often brought up by my boss. Also, we have met eachother in a few gala events. But he might've not remembered me that well when you first showed my picture to him, that's why he didn't give away my secret right away.", Susheela answered his first question. Pramod nodded his head in understanding.

"To answer your second question on how I landed up with such an amazing opportunity, so here's my story. I was just 18 years old when I first met Mr. Amrit Singh Ahuja, my boss and Rohan's dad. My father had refused to send me for Olympics and so I was in my rebellious mode. I convinced boss that I'll work as a receptionist or an assistant in his office.", Susheela sighed as she recalled one of the darkest phases of her life. Her professional life would've been full of medals and appreciation, only if her sister and father wouldn't have betrayed her.
