Jeff's POV
I take off my face mask and look over at the crib and hear Lillian crying. I sigh and stand up and walk over to Lilly and look inside the crib. She sees me and stops crying, only subtle whimpers. I smile a little and pick her up and bring her to my bed, laying her down on her mothers side. "Here you go baby girl." I whisper wrapping an arm around her for safety.
I hear a slight coo, and then some snoring. I shake my head and kiss her cheek, before looking up at the ceiling. "Do you trust me?" plays through my head again, causing me to groan quietly. "Stop. Just stop talking to me." I hiss under my breath, looking back at my Lilly. "You look just like your mother when she slept." I whisper to the sleeping child while playing with a strand of her thin hair. "I love you Lilliana. Never forget that." I reach over for my face mask, put it back on, and slowly fall asleep, dreaming about Rose's reaction when I asked her to marry me.
Slender's POV
I sit at my desk looking over some paperwork over Rose's death. "Something just doesn't seem right here." I growl, frustrated that all of my work is going no where. Everyone says, "Oh! Slender knows all!" Well, that's not entirely true. I don't know how this happened. I take a deep breath and walk over to the window, leaning my faceless head against it, feeling the cool breeze through the glass.
"What's that tingling sensation?" I whisper, feeling deep inside my body a feeling I haven't felt in almost a year. 'It feels as though Rose is in here.' I think to myself, looking around. I look towards my wall, feeling a pressure on my back, telling me to walk over there and look around. So, I do. Once there, I look at all of the papers, the first one my eye lands on, is a paper of Zalgo and I . Or better yet, the ruler of the Creepy Pasta world. "That's when we still got along." I mumble. I turn around and sit at my desk again. "Maybe there's something to do with him. That's when a thought crossed me that never has before.
"What if Rose's death, wasn't just a normal murder and that the humans just didn't find the mansion. We're too far back in the woods for anyone to find us. So, there must have been someone with a greater mind behind it all. Someone must have sent the humans after us, and must have known where to look." I shout into my office. I grab some Creepy Pasta files and go over their backgrounds and their history to see where everyone was at, at the time of the death of Rose.
After another hour of frisking through paperwork, I find no leads. I internally frown and stand up, stretching; done for the night. "I'm going to bed. I'll solve your case soon Rose. I promise." I mumble, putting away all of her papers. "I'm going out to kill tomorrow." I state, walking back to my room, walking past Jeff's, hearing him mutter, "Stop. Just stop talking to me." 'Hmm.' I think mentally.
I make it back to my actual room and strip down and get in my pajama's. "There's always been something that Rose said to Jeff, that Jeff has never told us. Maybe, if I could get him to tell me, I'll be able to figure out this case faster. I'll talk to him tomorrow." I say to my empty room, before falling asleep.
Ben's POV
Playing video games with Jeff earlier was so much fun. We haven't done that in ages. The last time we did, was the day Rose passed away, earlier in the morning. It's been a long time. Since then, I haven't seen Jeff laugh like he used to, or tease everyone. Ever since her death, Jeff has become a full fledged parent and killer, protecting Lilliana with his life. That's understandable since she's a part of Rose, and literately named after her mother. Lilliana Rose. Sometimes, I wonder what it would be like now if Rose was still alive. Would Jeff still be happy? Would Rose and Jeff have another kid on the way? Would Jeff be as teasing as once before? These are question I don't think I'll ever have the answer for.
Although, lately, I've noticed an odd feeling around the mansion. I don't know if Slender, Jeff, or anyone else have picked up on it, but I know I have. It feels familiar. It feels like Rose is around, I don't really know how to explain it. It just feels like she never left, even though she's been gone for almost a whole year. A whole year next Thursday actually.
Splendor will probably be watching Lilly then so Jeff can go out and kill multiple people. For the first week of Rose's death, Jeff was a mess. He'd take care of Lilliana, but wouldn't take care of himself. He didn't go out to kill, he didn't eat, sleep, talk. Just took constant care of Lilliana. The second week was a little better. He just went through the stages of grievance. I know that he's still not over her death, and I don't think that he ever will be. It's just something he's not going to get over. I wouldn't either. Rose was loved by us all. EJ and Rose had a little of a rough past with Jeff and EJ's fight, but, they all eventually forgave each other and got over it. I just hope that when next Thursday comes around, Jeff doesn't do anything to crazy.
EJ's POV
Even though Lilliana is just a year old, I can tell that when she gets older, she's going to look just like her lovely mother. Rose would've been such a great mother. Jeff's doing great as a father, but there's something eating him inside out. I can tell. On occasion, I can walk past his room and hear him mumble things like 'shut up' to himself. I worry for my friend. I know that the fight we had a long time ago over Rose is put behind us, but I know that Jeff still is antsy around me.
I've tried to comfort him over her death, but, he hasn't really let anyone in. I've looked after Lilly for him while he goes out to kill a couple of times, but, he usually has Splendor or Slender watching over her. It's like he doesn't trust us anymore. But, I know, that he's just a little worried that his last attachment to Rose, will get hurt and leave, like she did to him. I've also felt this strange essence around the mansion here and there, and it's around Jeff and Lilliana a lot. I haven't really taken it into consideration as to what it could be, but, something tells me that something big will happen, and, it's happening soon.
