Chapter Seven: Bring Me To Life

Jeff's POV

'Slender is such an asshole.' I think to myself, carrying Lilly downstairs as I hand her to her uncle Splendor. "Can you watch her for a little bit? I need to take a walk." "Sure Jeff." Splendor says smiling, giving her a balloon. "Dada?" Lilly asks looking at me, tilting her head. "I'll be back soon baby girl. I'm just going for a walk." I say, rubbing her head lightly, leaving the house before Sally sees me. As I walk through the woods, I start walking over to the pond where Rose and I almost kissed, before Ben had to ruin it that is.

I sit down and look around, noticing a stick sticking up out of the ground, like it was put there. "What?" I whisper to myself. "No one knows about this pond besides Rose and I..." I whisper, standing up and walking over to the stick carefully. Once I reach it, I pull it out of the ground and watch as dirt falls over, revealing a paper?

"This is getting weird." I mumble, picking up the paper and opening it. I gasp when I see Rose's familiar hand writing.

August 15

Jeff,

By the time that you're reading this, it should be one to three days after Lilliana's first birthday. Tell her I love her everyday and give her lots of kisses. Now, you're probably wondering why I wrote this note, and knew what was going to happen. I never told you, but, I was having visions into the future as one of my powers. I know, weird. I've had a vision of the mansion getting attacked in two days. I hid the note here, so you can find it on your own time. Now, I think I know who sent the humans after us. They weren't after you, or Lilliana, or any other pasta, they were after me.

Why, I'm not sure. I can't tell you who did this, you have to figure it out on your own. But, I can give you hints. Through out the mansion and around the pond and places that were special to me, you'll find more notes. Each of them had a clue. None will be direct answers who you are looking for. By now, you may have officially met my mom. I want you to trust her. She may hold answers. Now, I want you to know that I love you so, so, so much. You're my everything Jeff. At the bottom of this note, is the first clue I can give you. Find you killed me Jeff, please. Save me, and bring me back to life. It's the only way...

Think back on the past, my mom became depressed, and tried to kill me because of this person. A friend of the police, said to be dead, but wandering the city in hiding of you.

By the time that I finish the note, I can feel my eyes watering. I look closely at the paper and see dry, cracking areas. "Was she crying when she made this note?" I ask myself, grabbing it and gently folding it back up, placing it in my pocket. I start walking back to the mansion, but before I leave the pond, I look back and smile, remember the fun Rose and I had here. "I love you to Rosie."

I make it back to the mansion after a few minutes, opening the door to find Lilly and Splendor both passed out on the couch. I smile and head up to Slender's office to find him pacing again, and Emma watching trying to make him calm. "I've decided."

Slender's POV

I stop pacing when I hear Jeff say, "I've decided." "Have you Jeff? What made you decide?" Emma asks, standing by me, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Well, Rose left me a note that I just found. She made it two days before her death and it's titled to me, so you both aren't reading it. But, it turns out that she was having visions into the future so she seen the attack happen. Why she didn't tell us so we could prevent it, I don't know. But, she also told me in the note that I should trust Emma... and that she may know who killed her but she's not sure. She also included that she was leaving clues all over the mansion and places that were most valuable to her. For example, near the place I found this. The first clue is, think back on the past, my mom became depressed, and tried to kill me because of this person. A friend of the police, said to be dead, but wandering the city hiding from you. What that means exactly, I don't know. But, I do know that she's trying to help us."

Jeff finishes he speech, and looks at Emma and then me, waiting. "Well, we have to find those clues and quick. Jeff, did she say anything else that may be important?" I ask, needing to know the answer. "Uhm, before the clue she said, save me and bring me back to life it's the only way." Jeff finishes, reading off the note. "Okay. Save me and bring me back to life... It's the only way. Well, she is a Creepy Pasta, not to mention my daughter. So, she should be immortal. Unless, the humans had knives that allowed them to kill, or put under a Creepy Pasta. Those actually do exist." I say looking back and forth between Emma and Jeff. "Wait a minute. I have one at home..." Emma says thinking back. "I hid it really well though so no one but me would no where it was. And, I sure as hell didn't send humans after my own daughter." Emma says, getting upset. "Did you happen to show anyone else where you kept it?" Jeff asks, actually communicating with her. Out of no where, I say, "You really would do things Rose would tell you to do..." I mumble, not expecting him to hear. "Hey. I loved her, she was my everything. You should know that by now Slender. And secondly, lets stay focused." "Right. Sorry. Emma, we should go to your house and see if it's still there. We can do a finger print search too." I say, teleporting us all to her house. I grab the flour and we head upstairs, following Emma into an abandoned room. That had a lock might I mention that she unlocked.

She walked over to a closet and unlocked it with the same key. She opens up the closet and gasps in horror. "It's not hear." she whimpers, looking around the room furiously. "I NEVER let anyone in here!" she shouts, running around like a mad woman. "WE'LL look for it together." Jeff shouts at her, trying to calm her. I shake my head and look around near the cabinet. I pour the flour on it and blow the extra away, revealing lots of finger prints. "Guys, I think I found a clue of who did this. It was a male..."
