Chapter IX: Lies and Surprises

Liam’s POV

Everything was still a mess with Harry and Danica. We were all quiet in the room and everyone was just sitting staring. “I don’t think things will calm down anytime soon.” Anna said. “So what happens now? Harry isn’t here yet.” I said. “I want to go home Liam.” Danica said. All the boys were shocked but we could tell that the girls have been talking about this. “Liam, we have decided to go back home.” Anna said. “I don’t want you to go.” I said frowning. “Please don’t make this hard boys. Our friend needs us. We’re leaving right now before Harry shows up.” Anna said. I knew it would be hard for Anna and me but her friend needs her. The boys agreed and we got all their stuff ready and dropped them to the airport to head back to California. We said our byes and hugged the girls. “Please stay strong. We will all get through this.” Anna whispered in my ear. “I know love. I love you so much. Call me when you land.” I said. She smiled and kissed me. We both shed a tear until she had to go. “Bye girls. I’ll miss you so much. Please and text always.” Pat said to the girls.

The girls have left and we went back to the hotel. “I really don’t know what to say to Harry when he comes home.” I said. The boys agreed and sat on the couch. I already miss Anna. I can’t believe everything had to happen this way. It was none of our faults but why were we all being punished. I feel bad for Danica. Harry and I are really good and close friends but what he did was wrong. We were eating dinner when we heard the door open. It was time to have the serious talk and I noticed all the tension that the boys had in their faces.

“Hey guys have you seen Danica?” Harry asked. “They left.” I said. “Where did they go?” He asked. “Home.” Zayn said with an angry tone. “Wait, why? What happened?” Harry asked. “Why don’t you tell us Harry?” Niall asked Harry with a frown. “What are you guys talking about?” Harry asked annoyed. “Don’t play dumb Harry. Tell us what happened last night!” I yelled. I couldn’t contain my anger any longer. I just had to yell and let the anger out. “What about last night? I was out with a friend.” Harry said calmly. “How can you lie to our faces like that? How can you be so calm? Do you see the problem you have caused? You caused for the girls to go home!” Louis snapped at Harry. We were all shock because Louis was the closest to Harry and they never fought ever. “I didn’t do anything wrong! I was out with Celine so what? It’s not like we did anything!” He yelled back. “You weren’t honest with Danica. You told her you would be out with your friends.” Zayn said trying to be the calm one. Harry left and slammed the door when he walked out.

How are we supposed to do two more concerts if we couldn’t even get along with Harry? I just want Anna to be here and to solve all this. She’s really good at helping others and making things better. I can’t believe this is happening. I was lying down on my bed getting ready to sleep when my phone buzzed.

From Anna:

Hey babe. We’re home. The flight was weird without you guys. I miss you so much already. How are things back there?

To Anna:

Things just exploded. Harry went home and we had a heated fight. He left again. Things are not good. I want you hear. You would know what to do to fix things. I miss you more.

From Anna:

I’m sorry for causing you all the problems. If we hadn’t met you will all still be friends with Harry. There wouldn’t be any fight.

To Anna:

I can’t believe your thinking that way. I love you, Anna. No matter what happens nothing will change that. We are together and that’s how I want it. I don’t care if there’s a problem with Harry. As long as you are with here with me. I promise you things will work out and we will be together again soon my love.

From Anna:

I know I’m sorry for thinking that way. I love you too Liam. We will find a solution. I promise. I love you. Get some sleep. You have a concert tomorrow.

To Anna:

I love you. Goodnight love.

Danica’s POV

I feel bad that I was the cause of all this. I knew the girls missed the boys and I was in the way of their happiness. They are really good friends. I was getting some ice cream and my phone buzzed.

From Liam:

Hey love. How are you? We miss you. Keep you head up high. We’re all here for you.

From Niall:

I miss you and your silliness. I’m here for you if you need someone to talk to.

From Zayn:

I hope you and Harry settle things. I’m always here for you even if you choose to leave him.

From Louis:

I’m sorry for what happened. I didn’t think he could do that. I know your upset but there are much more things to be smiling about. Like me giving you an awesome hug the next time we see each other.

It made me smile to know I have such awesome friends that are like my brothers. They looked out for me and they always knew how to cheer me up. I was going to the sofa when my phone buzzed again.

From Harry:

I don’t know what happened. I don’t know why you left. I’m sorry for not telling you the truth. The truth is nothing is going on between Celine and me. Please believe me. I would never hurt you that way.

To Harry:

I don’t care Harry. The fact that you lied to me about who you were with just proves that you didn’t want me to know. Just your luck I found out.

From Harry:

I’m sorry. I knew you would freak out so I didn’t tell you. I didn’t expect it would lead to this happening.

To Harry:

It would have been fine if you had said the truth. I honestly wouldn’t have mind the dinner thing at all. I can’t trust you anymore.

From Harry:

I didn’t think you would be okay with it. By the way you acted after the concert that one time.

To Harry:

Harry, I only acted that way because you left me and forgot about me. Leave me alone. Give me some time to think about this. I’ll talk to you when I’m ready.

From Harry:

FINE.

I can’t believe that he had the nerve to question me. I wasn’t over reacting. Any girl would react the same way I did. I didn’t even want to think about this anymore. I cried myself to sleep.

Harry’s POV

I don’t know why it was such a big deal. I knew that she wouldn’t be okay with it if I asked her if I could go dinner with Celine. She lied when she said she would be okay with it. No matter we have to get ready for the concert. I miss Danica but this fight is stupid.

I heard a knock on the door and I went to open it. I can’t believe who it was. “Boys get out here.” Paul yelled. The boys were shocked to see who it was. “Anna! What are you doing here? I thought you went home?” Liam yelled. “We lied. We are going home tonight.” She answered him. The girls were all here except Danica. “Where’s Danica?” I asked. I knew Anna wouldn’t answer me so I asked the others. “She’s at the hotel. She will be at the concert.” Issa answered. “This will be the last chance for you to try to get her back” Issa whispered in my ear.

I thought about everything again while on the way to the concert. I realized I was wrong and I had to get Danica back. She was the love of my life and I couldn’t let her slip out of my life just like that. I was going to this on my own. I know I also had to earn all their trusts back. I knew what just to do.
