Chapter XIX: A bit into the future

Liam’s POV

The years went by so quickly. The girls were graduating college in a couple of days and we were ending our UK tour. The girls managed to make a successful career with our Christmas gift to them a couple of years ago. They managed to work and go to school. A lot has happened in three years. I still remember the day we left California and how Anna and me separated ways.

Flashback:

We’re on our way to the airport. Anna and I decided to stay as friends. I respected her decision because I knew I had to give her time. It wasn’t all bad being friends with her. I don’t complain. I just want her in my life. We arrived at the airport and I had one last thing to do before I part ways with Anna. We all got out of the van and went inside. The girls waited for us to get situated and when it was time to say goodbye I took a microphone and stood in front of Anna.

“Anna, I know we are friends. We are really good friends. When we part ways we will still only be friends but I didn’t want you to leave without knowing how I still feel about you.” I said.

Heart beats fast colors and promises how to be brave how can I love when I’m afraid to fall but watching you stand alone all of my doubts suddenly goes away some how. “I love you so much. I’m sorry for being a jerk. I promise you I will be a better friend than I was a boyfriend. I love you to the moon and back. As a friend, a lover, and everything else.” I said. She hugged me and I let the microphone go. “Liam, thank you for being my friend. I know it’s hard for you but for now this is how it has to be. I love you as much as you love me. Remember even if we see other people our friendship will always be there.” She said. I knew that time would pass and we would see other people but our friendship will last a long time. I smiled at her as we left. The boys had said goodbye to their girlfriends and I said goodbye to my dearest best friend.

End of flashback

It was a rough couple of years for everyone. Zayn and Kayne broke up after a year of being separated. They couldn’t handle the long distance. They kept in touch though. Zayn was dating a girl named Perrie and Kayne also started to date Hunter after a long convincing that he has changed. Kayne and Zayn were still friends. Pat has moved in with Niall after graduating a couple of days before the rest of the girls did. Louis and Issa were still going strong. Danica broke it off with Harry after Harry was spotted cheating with a model. Danica never spoke again to Harry, but kept in contact with the rest of us. I’ve dated other girls after Anna and stayed with a girl named Kristina. Anna on the other hand is seriously dating a guy named Dustin who is five years older than her. She met him at one of the events she did. Dustin is an actor and I see them all over the news. We were still very close to each other, which Dustin got used to and to be honest he was a good guy.

We were at the airport now waiting to board. They said it wouldn’t be for a while so we decided to watch the television. It was on some news.
