Chapter XI: Birthday

Zayn’s POV

I was getting out of bed and going to Kayne’s room to wake her up and greet her a happy birthday, but before I could reach for the doorknob someone grabbed my arm. “What the hell?” I said quietly so I wouldn’t wake Kayne. “Don’t wake her up just yet. I need to talk to you.” Anna said. I stood there confused and she grabbed my arm and led me to Liam’s room. Liam was still sleeping. “Why did you bring me in here? Can’t you see Liam is still sleeping?” I said. “Let him wake up he needs to wake up anyways.” She chuckled. “I brought you in here to talk about Kayne’s birthday.” She whispered. “What about it?” I asked. “We need to surprise her and throw her a nice party.” She said. “That is right. She loves surprises. Did you plan this already?” I said. I nodded and we both smiled and stood there looking at Liam. “What are you two staring at?” Liam asked. We both laughed and stormed out of the room.

Liam’s POV

I woke up to Anna and Zayn just staring at me. It was weird and awkward. They both stormed out of the room. I was getting up when Anna ran back in the room. “Good morning babe. Let’s go get breakfast?” She asked. “That’s more I like. What were you and Zayn talking about?” I asked. “Kayne’s birthday surprise. The one that I have been planning.” She whispered. I smiled at her. I loved it when she was so motivated. She loves to plan and I think that would be her career.

I took her hand and she led me to the kitchen and I saw so much food. I sat next to Niall who was eating like there’s no tomorrow. Everyone was in the kitchen except Kayne. We were all talking about the plans until we heard her coming. We all shut our mouths and tried to act normal.

Kayne’s POV

Okay that was weird. I swore I heard them all laughing and giggling now that I’m in the room they became quiet. I sat next to Zayn. “What are we going to do for my birthday?” I asked being all excited. “I wanted to talk to you about that.” Zayn said hesitantly. “What is it?” I asked nervously. “We have an interview right after we eat breakfast and the concert right after.” Zayn said while holding my hand. I felt sad knowing that they would all be busy. At least I had the girls. “So It’s a girls day then?” I turned to the girls. “Sorry darling but I’m leaving in an hour to go visit my family with Danica. Family emergency.” Anna said. “I didn’t want Anna to go alone so I’m going with her. Sorry Kayne!” Danica came to hug me. “It’s fine.” I lied. “Don’t worry Kayne. We will have a good time.” Pat said assuring me. “We will go shopping and stuff.” Issa excitedly jumped off her chair and hugged Kayne. I guess it was just us three but I didn’t mind. I just wanted to spend time with all of them especially Zayn, but he’s busy. We all got ready and went our separate ways.

Time flew by so quickly. After we left the house we went to get massages and then get our nails done. We had a girl’s lunch then got our hair and makeup done. We were heading out to go clubbing cause the girls insisted we go out tonight. I wore a red tight short dress, Issa was wearing a black tight short dress, and Pat was wearing a skirt and a cheetah print top. We all headed out and on my way to the car my buzzed.

From Zayn:

Hey babe, I’m just getting ready for the concert. I heard you were going clubbing with the girls? I hope you have fun. I’ll see you when I get home okay? Love you. Happy Birthday my love.

To Zayn:

Hey there. Yes I am. They wouldn’t take no for an answer. Kill out there. I miss you already. See you at home. Love you too baby. Thanks!

From Anna:

Hey honey. We miss you dearly and we are sorry we missed your birthday. We will be home before you know it. Have fun clubbing tonight. PLEASE be careful and always stick to your bodyguards. Or else Paul will get mad. Take care of Pat and Issa. Love you tons.
