Chapter XXV: Heated Interview

Harry’s POV

“Haz, wake up.” Someone said while nudging me. “Leave me alone.” I said. “Come one Hazza wake up.” She said with a sweet voice kissing my nose. I opened my eyes to see Danica. “Sorry babe. I’m not a morning person.” I said. “I know. We all know. That’s why they sent me because they know you wouldn’t get mad at me.” She chuckled. I pulled her and hugged her tight. “Good morning love.” I said. She smiled and kissed my nose again before heading out the door. “Breakfast is ready.” She said. I got up and went downstairs to the kitchen. It smelled delicious. I saw Anna cooking and slapping Niall every time he tried to eat everything she coked. She set down breakfast and before she knew it, it was all gone. She looked at us with a confused expression on her face. After an awkward moment she smiled and went to get herself some juice. Niall stood up and followed her with his plate in his hands. “I can share, but I have to feed you.” Niall told her. “No it’s okay Niall.” She said sweetly, but Niall couldn’t take no for answer so she ate everything Niall fed her. We all laughed except Pat. “Anna, you must be special to Niall. He doesn’t share his food with just anyone.” I said. We all laughed while Niall and Anna blushed. We all got out of the kitchen and the girls wanted to go check on WB today. We decided to go with them. I was going inside my room when I heard Kayne talking to Pat. “Just get over it Pat. It’s not good for the group to see you like this.” Kayne said. “I told her she can date him, but I was lying. I would totally throw a fit if she did.” Pat said. “Why did you say it was okay then?” Kayne asked. “Well, do you think anyone would take my side? You girls have known her longer and the boys adore her.” Pat said. I left before anyone could see I was listening. I don’t think it would be a good idea to have Anna and Pat in the same room by themselves. I walked in my room to change and go to Danica to talk about what I overheard.

Danica’s POV

After looking for an outfit to wear I settled with a cream sheer top, black and white striped skinny jeans, a black fedora, and black toms. Someone knocked on the door and when I opened Harry came in dramatically. “Haz, what’s wrong?” I asked with concern. “Danica, I overheard a conversation and before you lecture me again about listening in to other’s conversation you need to know I am glad I heard it.” He said without taking a breath. “Okay then. What is it you heard?” I asked. He told me everything he heard about Pat. I don’t have anything against Pat but she can’t actually just say things to Anna but think different. We would all understand if she just said she still wasn’t okay with Niall and Anna ever seeing each other more than friends but the problem is she said it was okay. I need to tell Pat to talk to Anna about everything again. Pat needs to tell her how she really feels.

We all met up at WB to check in how it was. It was a busy day because it was summer. The boys had an interview so they had to leave for a bit. We decided to watch it in my office. The girls sat down and we listened to the interview.

“Who has girlfriends?” The interviewer asked. “I am still with Kayne and we’re going strong.” Zayn said. “I still have my beautiful girlfriend Issa. She hasn’t got sick of me yet.” Louis said and laughed. “Danica is still the one who holds my heart. She’s pretty amazing.” Harry said. “I’m single.” Liam said. “Liam, I believe that you and miss Miller called it quits. Why is that?” The interviewer said. “Well, we thought we were a perfect match. Lately, things happened that showed us we were better off as friends. We’re still really good friends and we ended things on a good note.” Liam said. “I am also single.” Niall said. This was the first time he told the public about him being single. “Wait, what?” The interviewer asked. “Pat and I aren’t together anymore. Things weren’t the same anymore. I thought we had a good thing going but I guess she didn’t think so. We’re friends.” Niall added. Everyone was shocked. “Is this because you are getting closer to Anna Miller?” The interviewer asked. “To be honest I guess it was. Anna and I hung out together on her birthday because everyone was busy. I guess the pictures and everything made it seem like we were together but we were just good friends. She’s pretty amazing. We have a good time and she makes me laugh. We got closer after her birthday too. She stole my snapback by the way.” He said smiling. The audience awed.
