Hashirama ran into town and immediately sensed Madara's chakra and walked over to Choetsu Ramen, lifting the yellow flap up with excitement.
"Kazuki-san!" Hashirama greeted Madara with a surprised smile. "What a coincidence."
Madara jolted around and saw Hashirama walk in, joyfully taking the seat by his side.
"Yes, what a coincidence." Madara said with a smile, although it was totally obvious that Hashirama had been running merely seconds ago.
"Hasuru-san, can I have the usual please!" Hashirama called out to the back room, Hasuru popped out his head and a smile quickly crept to his face.
"Hokage-sama. I was missing your presence! Did you want alcohol with that as per usual?" Hasuru asked with a smile, hearing this, Hashirama's expression twitched.
"Oh? Hokage-sama drinks alcohol all the time, does he?" Madara inquired with a smirk, for no reason at all, Hashirama felt a rush of embarrassment and his face flushed with a lovely pink.
"Well, do you want alcohol?" Hashirama asked quietly, Madara heard his pouty question and smiled.
"Hasuru-san, make it two bowls and a bottle of sake." Madara called to the back, Hasuru made a grunt of acknowledgement and disappeared off into the hot kitchen once more.
"Did you not order before?" Hashirama asked curiously, Madara stared at the table, inevitably remembering the verbal fight he had with Tobirama from before.
"Wasn't really hungry." He replied.
"Oh." Hashirama stuttered, and with that the conversation died until their food was finally served.
"Here you go. Hokage-sama, Kazuki-san." Hasuru grinned, placing down the two bowls of mouth-watering ramen, two white bottles of sake and two cups.
"We only ordered one bottle though?" Hashirama spoke up, pointing at the extra bottle of sake.
"Don't worry, it's on me, Hokage-sama." Hasuru spoke with a small bow. "Thank you for all you've done for this village, Hokage-sama."
"Thanks." They both thanked Hasuru who went out from the front and started to light the lanterns that hung on the side of his stall.
Then he flipped the 'Open Now' sign, Hashirama saw this and frowned.
"Is there anything wrong, Hasuru-san? Why close your shop so early?" Hashirama inquired.
"Haha, I might retire for the day, my back's been killing me lately." Hasuru explained, probing his elderly back with a weary grin.
"Besides, I'll give you both some private time, I know that Hokage-sama gets very emotional when drunk." Hasuru teased with a laugh, Hashirama heard this and pouted, feeling Madara's laughing gaze on him. Did everyone in Konoha have to pick on him about it?
"Here, I'll heal it for you." Hashirama gestured for Hasuru to come over and placed a warm hand on his back. Green chakra exuded from Hashirama's hand and Hasuru's painful expression gradually eased.
"Good lord! Thank you Hokage-sama, the pain's all gone!" He exclaimed with joy, flexing his tired arms with energy.
"It's alright, you should go rest now, though." Hashirama reminded him, Hasuru nodded before leaving into the backroom, closing the door behind him.
"You should eat before it gets cold, Hashirama." Madara advised, finishing the last bits of his ramen with ease.
"You eat just as quickly as my friend too!" Hashirama exclaimed in amazement, picking up his chopsticks and began to quickly devour his noodles.
