"Hashirama..." Madara's gentle voice was the first thing he heard when he gained consciousness, long eyelashes fluttering as he slowly opened his eyes.

A warm stream of sunlight shone through the opened windows, shining on his white blankets and making him feel sleepy.

"You've woken, Hashirama." Madara's hand laid on the side of the bed, eyes bending into crescents as he gazed down at the beauty.

"Mada...ra?" Hashirama slowly sat up, long hair sprawling down his shoulders as he rubbed gently at his sleepy eyes. He stared at the other man who gently smiled at him, before remembering everything that happened before.

The promises... The kiss...

Hashirama's face went bright red and he brought his hands up to cover his face, feeling embarrassed enough to die.

And now I'm stuck in a room with him! This is so awkward!

Madara watched in amusement, heart pounding as he silently cleared his throat.

Should he ask? Ask for Hashirama's true feelings?

Madara clenched his trousers anxiously, watching as Hashirama spared him a peak before burying his face back in his hands.

I think he likes me... Madara rubbed his thighs and nervously glanced at the other before diving back in his thoughts. But what if I ask him and he says no?

"M-Madara, ahem." Hashirama stuttered, trying to control his voice as he stared at his friend pitifully. "About before..."

The kiss.

"Madara-sama! Hashirama-sama!" Tadashi opened the doors hastily, fixing his collar before swiftly storming in. His black eyes were shining as he stopped in front of his master, lowering himself to one knee as he lowered his head, heart barely containing his joy.

"Tadashi. I'm glad you're managing." Madara praised, giving Tadashi a pat on the head before gesturing to him to stand up.

Hashirama watched the two enviously, looking to his side as Tobirama walked over. A small smile plastered on his face as he caressed his older brother's hair, Gento smiling cheerfully next to him.

"Tadashi." Madara muttered, staring unblinkingly at the pale hand that touched Hashirama lovingly. Madara looked away, blinking as he did so.

"Let's go." He whispered, giving Tadashi a small gesture and leaving the room in big strides before anyone could stop him.

"M-Madara-!" Hashirama realized that the Uchiha was leaving, calling out his name in a hurry but quickly surprised as the other did not stop or slow down.

"He must be helping out Tadashi-san, when he's free I'm sure he'll come visit you." Tobirama reassured, noticing the disappointment that reflected in Hashirama's warm black eyes.

Gento smiled upon seeing the warmth Tobirama was sharing to his brother.

It's not only me who has kindness, Tobirama-san. Gento watched as Tobirama gently patted his brother's head, suddenly, a series of instant images flashed through his head, causing him to take a staggering step back.

"Who are you?" An echoing voice demanded, voice icy cold as he went on guard.

"Just a random passerby." Gento spoke, eyes tearing up as he gripped his head with a trembling hand.

My heart hurts... I shouldn't have forgotten- why am I telling myself to remember something that has been forgotten?

"Gento-kun." Tobirama rushed to the other, placing a stable hand around his arm and shaking him slightly to get his attention. "What's wrong?"
