Chapter 12

Gonna try and upload this on Wednesdays! So look out for new chappys! By the way thanks so much to Calienia for helping me with the plan!

****Mishina's POV

Deidara looked at me in shock. "What is she talking about Mishina, un?"

"....You know that my mom isn't the tailed beast. She.. she faked her own death. I took her away from you guys and I let her leave with my father. He came to get her and they left."

"Where is she?" Akane growled at me and I shrugged.

"I don't know. I didn't ask any questions. I'm sure she doesn't want to see me anyway." I answered.

"Yeah?! Well what about Naruto and I, did you ever think that maybe we would want to know?!" she yelled.

"I did, but mom and dad were actually the ones to say they didn't want you two to find out where they were.."

The two's eyes widened. "Why would they say that?" Naruto asked, sadness laced in his voice now.

"Didn't I just say I didn't ask any questions?" I sighed. "That's one of your flaws Naruto. You need to listen more often. It could help you out every once in a while."

He glared at me. "I don't even concider you my sister anymore. As far as I'm concerned, Akane is my only one."

Akane looked over at him. "As much as I want that to be true Naruto, she is our sister so we've just gotta suck it up and deal with it."

I was hurt. My own siblings didn't even want me as their sister anymore. "I want you two to know though.. I'm always going to love you." I told them with a small smile on my face. They didn't return it.

****Akane's POV

"I hate you Mishina." I stated and her body tensed, going wide eyed.

"No.. no you don't Akane.."

"The next time I see you.. One of us is going to die." I stated to her. "For now though, I'm leaving. Let's go Naruto." before either of them could say anything I had jumped off, leaving them both behind already.

Naruto soon caught up to me, as I wasn't going my full speed. "Where do you think mom and dad are right now?" he asked.

"I'm not really sure.. they could be anywhere, but I don't have any answers." I replied.

He let out a small sigh and nodded. "I just hope they're okay."

"Me too.."

A little while later we finally got back to the village and I went up to my office, shutting and locking the door. But I noticed a presence that was sitting in my chair. I turned to see a familiar red head. "Gaara, what are you doing here?" I smiled.

"I came to see how you were doing." he answered.

"I could be better.. it turns out Mishina lied to Naruto and I. Our mom is still alive, but we don't know where my parents are right now.."

"How do you know she wasn't lying though?"

"I saw it. She let me see my mom and she actually stratigizing with her. I just can't believe that she (her mom) would actaully go through with a plan like that. They're making their children suffer because of it Gaara!"

"I suffered too Akane."

I bit my lower lip, forgetting about the past that he had told me. He grew up with no love from anyone but his siblings, and even then he didn't return it. "I'm being selfish.. You had it worse and I'm complaining of this."

"You're not being selfish. You're just letting anger out. It's okay. If you want you can talk to me about it?" he offered.

"You don't mind?" I tilted my head slightly.

"Of course I don't mind. If you ever need to talk to me, just know that I'm always going to be here for you even if no one else is."

I smiled and went over to him, sitting in his lap, huggin around his neck. "Thank you Gaara." He stroked my hair comfortingly, as I let a few tears roll down. I could tell it was a bit awkward for him, seeming as he's never really done this before I had pressumed to anyone but me. I pulled back, loosening my arms that were around his neck, and I kissed his lips.

He smiled when I pulled away again. "Akane, you really do mean a lot to me."

My lips stretched farther. "And so do you Gaara." Once again I hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. I felt safe.
