Chapter 6

OMG DON'T HATE ME!!! MY INTERNET'S BEEN DOWN AND THERE'S SCHOOL AND HOMEWORK AND I'M SORRY!!!!!!! I feel bad I haven't uploaded so this one will be very short, a page probably, maybe even shorter....But I'm going to get this to you all asap! I'm sorry again! but I didn't get my votes....

**Gaara's POV

This girl. This girl has changed me... so I want her to stay with me. "Akane? Would you like to live in Sunagakure with me?"

She looked up at me stunned. "What?"

"I know that you have a village to look after. But I want you to stay with me. At least for as long as you can." I stated.

She looked around, and then her gazed stopped at the blonde. "One month, Naruto. Think you can handle it?"

His eyes lit up, "Of course I can Akane!" he smiled.

I grinned on the inside. She was going to stay with me.

***Hours later after everyone was gone

We both sat on the roof of my office staring at the sky. "I didn't think that you would say yes." I started.

She chuckled slightly, "I was thinking about it, I didn't know whether I should leave them or not. The sad thing about it is that I do have to go back. I don't trust Naruto being Hokage..."

I let out a small laugh, "Well I'm glad you decided to stay with me, Akane. You helped me. Even though I just met you (oh gosh Call Me Maybe moment! sorry...) you changed me. I used to be empty, I used to think that no one cared about me. It was then that I decided to live for myself, and myself only. I didn't care who I killed, I didn't think twice about it. I didn't think about how much pain I would cause their family and friends, I just didn't care about anything. But I care about you Akane."

A slight blush appeared on her cheeks, "I-I don't know what to say..." she stuttered.

"Then don't say anything." I sat up and looked at her while she was still laying down. The blush spread, and I leaned down, and placed my lips on hers. She kissed me back, and I pulled away after a few seconds of it. I smiled. I smiled a genuine, happy smile. I was happy with her next to me.

She fell asleep a few minutes later and I carried her into my room, setting her on my bed. I kissed her forehead and I climbed into bed. Falling asleep for the first time without worry Shukaku would take over me.

***Akane's POV

He asked me to stay with him in Suna... I didn't know what to think of it at first, but I said yes to it. I was slightly sceptical about it, but then I knew I would regret not staying when I got home, so I decided one month would be okay I guess.

He told me things that he's never told anyone before. I felt special that he could open up to me like this. He even told be flat out that he cared about me. And I care about him.

***Third person POV

Mishina still struggled against the chakra chains, but soon a large white bird came from the sky.

"Deidara!" she yelled. "Why didn't you come and get me sooner?! ...You ass."

He chuckled, "Sorry, but I had important things to take care of, yeah." He got her out of the chains in about five minutes.

She stretched her arms, "So where's Sasori? Is he at the base?"

He swollowed hard, and didn't speak.

"No... he can't be... dead." she choked out trying to fight back the tears.

"Mishina... they killed Danna."

She cried, "No!"

"I'm sorry, Mishina." he walked over to her and pulled her into a tight hug. He lifted her chin up and kissed her gently. "Everything's going to be okay, un. Now let's go home." he sighed as he took her hand leading her onto the bird that had flown in minutes ago.

She nodded her head, the tears still streaming down her cheeks and followed him onto it, as the bird took off towards the Akatsuki base.

Okay guys no cliffy here, but I was going to have some drama happen to Akane, but she's only been there a day, so maybe in a week some drama will happen with her. So yeahhh...
